Things To Do

Go enjoy the beauty of Rhode Island! This local guide has some great spots (some things may be closed in Fall) Charlestown: https://rhodeislandfoodandtravel.substack.com/p/rhode-island-travel-guides-2aa Narragansett: https://substack.com/home/post/p-159522723 Newport: https://rhodeislandfoodandtravel.substack.com/p/rhode-island-travel-guides And our personal favorites are listed below...
South County Bread Company

South County Bread Company

333 Main Street, South Kingstown, RI 02879

We're not obsessed, you are! Our go-to bread & pastry spot. Favorites are the Focaccia and Ham & Swiss croissants.

Purslane Eatery

Purslane Eatery

318 Main Street, South Kingstown, RI 02879

Our favorite restaurant, where our Rhode Island adventure began! (Let's just say if we hadn't sat at this bar top with Eric and Daniella, half our good RI fortune may never have happened) Get the tuna crudo.

Pasquale's Pizzeria Napoletana

Pasquale's Pizzeria Napoletana

59 South County Commons Way, South Kingstown, RI 02879

Our local national award winning pie. The winning pizza is only offered dine-in, but their to-go pizza is also delicious. Favorites are Margherita and King Ferdinando.

Matunuck Oyster Bar

Matunuck Oyster Bar

629 Succotash Road, South Kingstown, RI 02879

Waterside oyster fix! Bar, rooftop and heated tent options.

Potter Wood

Potter Wood

South Kingstown, RI 02881

Where we got engaged! Sarah swears these woods have magic in them. Like Narnia. Without the freaky fauns.

Black Point Trailhead

Black Point Trailhead

655 Ocean Road, Narragansett, RI 02882

Beautiful short walk along the sea. Options to dip down to private rocky beaches along the way or walk all the way to Scarborough State Beach.

Point Judith Lighthouse

Point Judith Lighthouse

1470 Ocean Road, Narragansett, RI 02882

Gorgeous ocean view and sneak peek of Block Island

Charlestown Breachway

Charlestown Breachway

812-774 Charlestown Beach Road, Charlestown, RI 02813

Rhode Island Fall: it could be chilly or it could be stunning! Either way, Charlestown Breakaway is the quintessential RI beach. Parking in the off season is free. Dare you to take a dip.

Visit the Trolls

Visit the Trolls

150 Burlingame State Park Rd, Charlestown, RI 02813

Pay the troll toll in Ninigret Park! New to Rhode Island, by the same artist that made two trolls in Seattle (and all over the world). Only a couple of miles from the General Stanton Inn. Park in the lot next to the children's playground, look for signage for Troll No. 1 and Troll No. 2. If you get lost, the trolls have shared their locations on Google Maps.

For all the days along the way
