Maid of Honor
Kat and I met move-in day freshman year at Boston College. Our dorm rooms were right next to each other and we have been side by side ever since! We have been friends for almost a decade and throughout the years have been to many places together- from Italy to Amsterdam to Iceland to Jones beach. Kat is one of the most loyal, driven, hard-working, and elegant woman I have ever met! Kat keeps me laughing with her charming wit and incredible sense of humor. Furthermore, Kat is Joey's god-mother.
Best Man
Dylan is, and always has been, who I want to be when I grow up. Unfortunately, I stopped growing around the time I met him Freshman year of high school and he undoubtedly will always tower over me. Not just in height, but in the way he carries himself, the high standards he sets, and even sometimes in the eyes of Molly! Dylan lives for adventure, I’m psyched to say I’ve been on a few with him, and couldn’t be happier to have him by my side as I start my own next adventure.
Maid of Honor
Sarah and I also met freshman year of college. Sarah is one of the most spunky, hilarious, and entertaining people I have ever met and I am honored to call her my maid of honor. She's also my go to for legal advice and is formally in my phone as Sarah J.D., Esq. Sarah is well known amongst my family for reminding us all of my mom (this might be why my mom loves her so much!) as they share an affinity for blue moons, white claws, going to bed early and picking up after everyone.
Best Man
Marc and I share a love for many things, but more than anything we both love to compete. While there’s a few (many) things I can’t keep up with him at, I have countless fond memories of our competitions over the last 15 years. Whether it was 1-on-1 basketball games deep into the night in his driveway, math tests, or who knew the words to more Blink 182 songs on our many carpools … he was always there to push me. A champagne enthusiast, every occasion is a celebration with Marc around, so I’d be crazy not to include him as a best man on my wedding day.
Bridesmaid
Zoe! My younger sister by seven years. Zoe inherited the good hair and freckles, but she also inherited kindness, sweetness, and is the most gentle person you will ever meet. It is no wonder why everyone meets her falls in love with her! Just look at those eyes. It has been my greatest gift to be your big sister and watch you grow into the beautiful young woman you are today.
Groomsman
Gunnar has always been that friend that does ‘All the Small Things.’ We were blessed to have made so many great friends on our floor freshman year at BC, and it was really Gunnar & his centrally located room that brought us all together. For 4 years Gunnar was the leading force behind all of our big events at BC, but beyond those, I'll always appreciate all the small things - car rides to/from Boston, ordering Domino's to the ice on the Lake Street Pond, and that time we watched Joe Dirt twice in a row (with commercials) cause we couldn't find the remote. I'm proud to be his friend, and truly honored to have him as a groomsman on my big day.
Bridesmaid
Katie is Matt's older sister (and soon to be my sister!). Katie always makes any occasion feel special with her sentimental touches and thoughtfulness. And the fact that my future sister-in-law is a jewelry designer and entrepreneur is just an added bonus. I can't wait to have family holidays and make new traditions with our families together. I have known Katie for 6 years and although she is Matt's sister, she feels more like a best friend to me! I admire the beautiful friendship and relationship that Matt and Katie share- they are incredibly close and so incredibly loyal to one another.
Groomsman
Michael is a lover of the great outdoors, KY bourbon, and music - need I say more? By the time Michael married my sister Katie, he had already been like a brother to me; giving me a lot to look up to and a good deal of laughs along the way. He's an internationally accomplished marathoner and expert skier, but it is really his extensive knowledge of 90s comedy films, especially Chris Farley, that seeded my deep-rooted respect for him. Don't be misled, this guy is not all outdoor fun and jokes - as he is currently finishing his Masters in Computer Science and I'm psyched to have his combination of brains and wit in my grooms party.
Bridesmaid
Dani- a partner in crime since freshman year of college. Dani makes me smile and giggle like no one else I have ever met! I have so many incredibly fun memories with the beaut- whether its cutting class (sorry mom) and going to Fenway to watch the Red Sox win the world series, gallivanting in Amsterdam, dancing at Irish bars in Boston or laying by the beach in Cape Cod & playing drinking games (she always asks my dad and I to be her partners- I wonder why?!). Dani will be my future children's "cool Aunt" and will be my fun friend for life.
Groomsman
Even though I almost killed him (twice), Carmen thankfully still agreed to be a groomsman. Taking out those near-death experiences, living with Carmen at BC, and spending time together in the years that followed, has always been so seamless. He is very easygoing, and has been one of my most dependable and reliable friends in any scenario. Whether it was company in the library, dropping everything to catch the Giants game, or a high quality dentist referral - Carmen has been there.
Bridesmaid
This Colombian beauty was my freshman year roommate and has been a part of my life ever since! Diana is the kind of friend that you can call at any hour of the day and you know she would drop whatever she is doing to help you if you needed it. I admire her constant energy and adventurousness. Although she can't sit still for more than 20 minutes, she is my go-to partner in crime for whatever adventure lays ahead.
Groomsman
Once we got through the frustration of being randomly paired in the same orientation dorm room despite hailing from rival CT highschools, everything has always clicked between Vince and me. “Vinny” is always the first one to step up for any idea I come up with, even (especially) the bad ones. Being able to start and end my time at BC with Vince as a roommate, was not only incredibly fun, but extremely rewarding. He has always had my back no matter what, and I'm glad to have that support by my side on my wedding day.
Bridesmaid
Molly and I share more than just a name and a profession (we are both nurses!). Molly has been by my side throughout the ups and downs of nursing school and I know she will continue to be by my side forever. Molly is one of the most beautiful (inside and out) friends I have ever had and I am truly lucky and grateful to have her by my side on my big day. Molly&Molly, my accomplice forever.
Groomsman
Dave is a true friend with a nose for fun and a great sense of humor. As a BC roommate for 2 years, Dave could always make me (and pretty much anyone) laugh, and is right in tune with even my most obscure 90s movie references. I have always admired Dave's kindness, commitment to family, and ability to fall asleep just about anywhere at any time of day. With the wit of Jim Halpert and charisma of Michael Scott, I know Dave will make a great groomsman.
Bridesmaid
Elena, where to start?! Elena has been my best friend since 6th grade. Growing up with our houses around the corner from each other I was always in the Pintauro's kitchen spending time with Elena and her incredible family. Elena is one of the most ferociously loyal people I have ever met and I know will always be there for me. I couldn't imagine my big day without her by my side.
Groomsman
Alex's love of the beach, the slopes, and Dave Matthews Band always made spending time together, not only easy, but a ton of fun. What began as an acquaintance that would help get me into mod parties at BC quickly grew into a friendship that we've continued to build in the years after college. I'm proud to be "Uncle Flynn" to Alex and his wife Carolynn's puppy "Manny" and psyched to have Alex as one of my groomsman on my wedding day.
Bridesmaid
Michelle (my future sister-in-law!) has been with my brother Zack for several years. Michelle is a breath of fresh air and is so loved amongst my family for not only being so easy-going and fun but for also putting up with my brother. Michelle is a laid-back chick who is so enjoyable to be around. We are so excited to have Michelle joining our family and I am so excited to have her be a part of my big day!
Groomsman
Zach, Molly's older brother, is an energetic, driven, and passionate addition to the grooms party. A world traveler and lover of Rock n Roll, Zach always brings the party when we get together, and I'm expecting nothing less for my wedding day. I'm so excited for the holidays, travels, and countless adventures our future holds and can't wait for Zach to become my second brother-in-law!
Bridesmaid
Kelly is my first cousin (my mom and her mom Amy are sisters) and Kelly and I basically grew up like sisters as well. We were born 24 hours apart (I am older!) and have been sharing birthdays, Thanksgiving's, Christmas's and vacations ever since. We have always felt closer than cousins and I can't imagine my childhood without her.
Groomsman
As long as I can remember I've been trying to catch up with Rob. From the middle school bball days I followed him to the same highschool and eventually to BC. Despite being 1 year ahead academically, and several years older in maturity, Rob always included me in every activity growing up and looked out for me every step of the way. GFA train rides, intramural hoops and CO ski trips are just a few fond memories. I'm thankful to have a guy like Rob looking out for me as I make the next step.
