My name is Jackie. I'm honored to be in Karla and Johnny's wedding. Karla has been my best friend for 8 years. We became friends at Fossil on my first black Friday ever. I was so nervous, and she was the first one to tell me good job, after that we clicked! She put her phone number in my phone and her contact was "Karla favorite person", till this day I have it saved like that. I will always say fossils has a special place in my heart because that's where I met my best friend. Mi nombre es Jackie. Me siento honrada de estar en la boda de Karla y Johnny. Karla es mi mejor amiga desde hace 8 años. Nos hicimos amigos en Fossil en mi primer Black Friday. Estaba muy nerviosa, y ella fue la primera en decirme buen trabajo, ¡después de eso hicimos clic! Hello, I’m Paul! Johnny and I go way back, going over a little more than two decades. I can’t really remember how we met, but I'm pretty sure it involved us locking eyes while eating a basket of chicken wings. Reflecting on how long it’s been makes picking a favorite moment with Johnny much more difficult. There’s no single favorite memory because this man has given me a lifetime of them. From running with the bulls in Spain, that one time he fixed LeBron’s jump shot or the night he became a Jabawockee at Cheers (bar in San Gabriel). Fun fact: this man is way more flexible than he looks—his helicopter head spin is something I’ll never forget. But that’s the thing about Johnny: he’s been at the center of so many core memories that I’ve gotten a chance to enjoy. And now, I couldn’t be more honored to be part of creating one of his most important ones this year. ¡Hola, soy Paul! Johnny y yo nos remontamos a poco más de dos décadas. Realmente no puedo recordar cómo nos conocimos, pero estoy bastante seguro de que implicó que nos miráramos a los ojos mientras comíamos una canasta de alitas de pollo. Hi my name is Crystal sister of the groom. The first time I met Karla was our first time going skydiving. Besides feeling the adrenaline from jumping off a plane, I also remember feeling so excited and curious about the special girl my brother has been talking about and making him smile. Karla did not disappoint and turned out to be the sweetest and most thoughtful human being. Seeing how much she loves my brother and how fast she has built a relationship with our whole family has been so beautiful to witness. I'm excited to gain a sister and honored to be a part of their special day! Hola, mi nombre es Crystal, hermana del novio. La primera vez que conocí a Karla fue la primera vez que hicimos paracaidismo. I first met Johnny briefly before he took my sister out on a date. I looked at him through the window to see if he walked funny or had any weird characteristics, he didn’t so he passed. Then he came inside, and we were formerly introduced and briefly spoke, while speaking the little we did in my head I already knew he was perfect for my sister. After they walked back to the car to head out for their date, I saw characteristics in his manner and how he presented himself that I knew were perfect for my sister. Conocí a Johnny brevemente antes de que llevara a mi hermana a una cita. Lo miré a través de la ventana para ver si caminaba raro o tenía alguna característica rara, no era así, así que pasó. I’ve known Karla since she was 13, back when I started dating her cousin, Fernando. Her sweet 15 was the first family event I attended, and little did I know that years later I’d have the honor of being one of her bridesmaids. I’m happy to be part of this new journey with her and Johnny, and I can’t wait to see all the amazing things they’ll accomplish together as husband and wife. A Karla la conozco desde que tenía 13 años, cuando empecé a salir con su primo Fernando. Because of that, I didn’t get to know what a great match he was for my cousin until the world started opening up again and we began to spend time together. When he asked me to be one of his groomsmen, I was truly honored, and I’m excited to be part of their new journey together. Soy Fernando, el primo/hermano mayor de Karla. Names Bryan Becerra I’m the younger, balder Becerra brother. I have a ton of fond memories with my big bro and narrowing it down is impossible. I can tell you about the time Johnny nut checked me on the way to school so hard I got to skip school that day. Or the many times we argued over Johnny losing the tv remote for the 100th time when we shared a room growing up. But I think the thing I will always remember is being known as Johnny’s little brother throughout high school. I used to think to myself my brother can’t be “that” cool for that to be MY identifier. But as we got older, I realized, my brother is that cool. And I’m lucky as hell to be Johnny’s little brother. Nombre es: Bryan Becerra Soy el hermano más joven y calvo de Becerra. Tengo un montón de buenos recuerdos con mi hermano mayor y reducirlos es imposible. I’ve known Johnny for as long as I can remember—our families were next-door neighbors growing up. When he introduced me to Karla, we instantly hit it off and became fast friends. One of my favorite memories is the night we went out dancing together and had the time of our lives, looking like two little meatballs on the dance floor. We were definitely each other’s Snooki and Deena that night! Conozco a Johnny desde que tengo memoria, nuestras familias eran vecinas de al lado mientras crecían. Hi, I’m Anthony Becerra and I like to think of myself as Johnny’s favorite younger cousin. Growing up, we were incredibly close, and Johnny has supported me through every milestone in my life. From teaching me how to play sports at a young age to cheering me on as I graduated college, he’s always been there for me. One of my favorite memories with Johnny is going to my first concert. After I graduated high school, he surprised me with concert tickets to go see my favorite rapper, J. Cole. It’s a moment I’ll always treasure and I’m so thankful we got to experience it together. Hola, soy Anthony Becerra y me gusta pensar en mí mismo como el primo menor favorito de Johnny. Al crecer, éramos increíblemente cercanos, y Johnny me ha apoyado en cada hito de mi vida. Desde enseñarme a practicar deportes a una edad temprana hasta animarme cuando me gradué de la universidad, siempre ha estado ahí para mí. One of the most amazing things to come out of my time at CSLA was taking Karla on as an intern, staying in touch after she graduated and ultimately becoming lifelong friends over coffee chats and fun adventures. I first met him back in 2018 at Frito Lay when I was a newer district manager, and we had an open route in my district. Johnny was given the opportunity to lead his own route right out of training. I’ll be honest, at first, I wasn’t thrilled about it—what did this guy from Jamba Juice know about running a route? The last thing I needed was another “newbie” on my team. But that’s where it all started. Over the years, it’s been an absolute pleasure to watch Johnny grow, not only in his career but as a person. He has taught me so much about what it truly means to be a leader and how to motivate others to reach their full potential. I’m proud to call Johnny both a colleague and a true friend. Lo conocí por primera vez en 2018 en Frito Lay, cuando era un gerente de distrito más nuevo, y teníamos una ruta abierta en mi distrito. Johnny tuvo la oportunidad de liderar su propia ruta nada más salir del entrenamiento. Seré honesto, al principio, no estaba emocionado por eso, ¿qué sabía este chico de Jamba Juice sobre correr una ruta? Lo último que necesitaba era otro "novato" en mi equipo. Pero ahí empezó todo. My name is Rosa Alonso. I met Karla & Johnny about four years ago when I started dating her brother Will. We have gone on double dates to concerts, baseball games, and even traveled together. One thing I’ve always admired is the way Johnny is always so sweet and attentive towards Karla. Not to mention how happy Karla is when she’s with Johnny. They just fit perfect together.
