I don't see a wedding registry site....Is there a wedding registry somewhere???

Answer

No....we did not register anywhere for gifts We've lived together quite awhile, we've got our pots and pans We don't any need gifts for our home, so we've got another plan We know it's not traditional, and not the usual way it's done But rather than a wedding gift list, we'd love to get some sun So if you'd like to give a gift, and help send us on our way A donation towards our honeymoon would really make our day The choice is really yours though, and we would like to say The very best gift we could receive is you here on our special day!!!

How far is the reception site from the wedding on the beach

Answer

It is approximately 3 to 4 blocks - will have signs with balloons pointing the way When you leave the beach/community center you will make the first left onto Hillenwood Road - take it all the way around to the stop sign. If you are driving a golf cart, proceed straight and park in front of park fence. If you are driving a car, turn right onto River Rd at the stop sign and park in one of the empty lots next to or across the street from my house - or in front of my house if there is room

Will there be alcohol? Is it an Open Bar or a Cash Bar?

We are IRISH...of course there will be alcohol!!! There will be an OPEN Bar - we are providing beer, wine, liquor - as well as sodas and waters. Will have bartenders for cocktail hour and reception. PLEASE TIP YOUR BARTENDERS!!!!

What are the food choices???

Answer

There will be assorted fruits, vegetables, cheese and crackers during cocktail hour. The dinner will be a BBQ buffet catered by Mission BBQ. Due to Covid restrictions, you cannot help yourself - as you go down the buffet line there will be a staff member at each item that will serve you what you want. Items on buffet include pulled portk, pulled chicken, turkey with gravy, mac and cheese, green beans, baked beans, rolls and cornbread.

Covid - 19 restrictions

Answer

As we continue to battle Covid-19, there are many restrictions, such as needing a server for each buffet item and a maximum of 250 guests (which is half of our original guest list). Cocktail hour will be out in the open area of park - cocktail tables spread out. The reception tables will be spread as far apart as possible, within the constraints of the tent. We will have hand sanitizer available. You can wear a mask if you wish, but it is not required. The dance floor will be open for dancing, but if you do not feel comfortable dancing close to others, we completely understand. IF YOU FEEL SICK OR HAVE ANY SYMPTOMS - PLEASE STAY HOME!!!!
