After arriving at the homecoming concert fashionably late at the University of Minnesota, Leah and her friends wound up sitting behind Brandon and his friends at the stadium formerly known as TCF Bank to enjoy a night of glitter, dancing, and all of Kesha's greatest hits. Some call it luck, some call it fate, but that night something sparked between Brandon and Leah, and the rest is history! Leah conveniently "left her jacket" on the seat so that she had to go back and ask for Brandon's number.

After months and months (years, some may say) of talking about and planning for the future, Brandon finally put together a plan with the help of Jack and Erin Murnane to pop the question. The annual trip to Sam's Christmas Village was the spot! After walking around the light display one time, with many stops for photos & a couple cups of liquid courage, Brandon finally got down on one knee! To no one's surprise, Leah said yes!
