While they both attended the same high school, only one year apart, Travis & Jackie had never met face-to-face until 2016, when they ran into each other at a bar in their hometown on Long Island, New York. Travis offered to buy Jackie a drink, to which she said accepted and decided on a Bud Light. She had no idea what to get. She was trying her best at being effortlessly cool AF. And by asking for a Bud Light, she obviously missed her mark. This is a no judgment zone. Travis drank sophisticated IPAs with fancy names, and all Jackie knew was one thing about them: beer. Once they had their drinks in hand, the conversation flowed seamlessly. For hours they laughed, listened, and became totally enveloped in what the other had to say. In the middle of a crowded hometown bar, it seemed like nobody else was around. Jackie had never spoken to a man with so much charisma, and Travis had never spoken to a woman who made him laugh so much. After a year of friendship and flirting, these two crazy kids finally made it official (#BoYfRiEnD&GiRLfRiEnD) in July of 2017. On their four year anniversary, July 27th, 2021, Travis got down on one knee on the balcony in their hotel room on a vacation to Myrtle Beach, and proposed. In true Jackie fashion, she answered the easiest question she’d ever had to before it was asked. And the rest was history.
