Fun Fact: Mary Ann's cousin Taylor Roberts Roane AND Chris's sister Halley Holdsworth Pinkston both had their rehearsal dinners here! Great lunch near the WWII Museum!
Pêche Seafood Grill (Warehouse District / WWII Museum)
Fun Fact: One year, Mary Ann's whole family went to the World War II museum. Afterwards they went to Peche. When they sat at the table, they realized they were one person short but couldn't figure out why. They had left Mary Ann behind at the museum. Turns out getting invested in the museum exhibits and going off alone isn't the best idea if you want to stay with your family!

N7 - French Farm to Table (Bywater)
You will have to make a reservation soon to get in here, but this is an amazing French restaurant. Farm-to-table gem with outdoor vibe.
Paladar 511 - Italian (Marigny)
Chris and Mary Ann came here for their first date in New Orleans! Amazing Italian place. you'll need. reservation in advance. The brunch is amazing. Lemon Ricotta pancakes are a 5 star situation.

The High Hat Cafe (Uptown/Lunch)
This place is named High Hat after the Pope's tall hat because all they serve is soul food! (it's not, but that's a good story!) Catfish, pimiento cheese & other Southern specialties plus cocktails in relaxed, modern cafe space.

It's certainly not Texas BBQ, but it's a favorite for most bayou BBQ lovers.

When Mary Ann and her siblings visited New Orleans as kids, their dad used to bring them to THIS location early in the mornings in their pajamas. They would drink chocolate milk and smother themselves in powdered sugar. Every single time. Mary Ann and Chris built on this tradition by eating their first solo meal after getting engaged at this same Cafe Du Monde, drinking chocolate milk and eating beignets. Pro tip: skip the line, and go ahead and seat yourselves!!

Lafitte's Blacksmith Shop Bar (French Quarter)
One of the oldest and allegedly most haunted bars in America. This was one of Mary Ann's first stops after she turned 21! Don't ask her about it!
Maple Leaf Bar (Uptown)
This is Chris's favorite music venue in all of New Orleans. There's always great live music.
Superior Seafood & Oyster Bar
Chris used to work here "back in the day"! Great seafood and oysters.
Parkway Bakery & Tavern (City Park/Po Boy Lunch!)
According to Chris and Babs, this place deserves the title of "Best Po Boy in The City". He recommends the Surf and Turf Po Boy.

This is Chris's favorite bar. You'll take the Canal St. Ferry to get there. It's $2 each way.

Broussard's Restaurant & Courtyard (French Quarter)
Historic, circa-1920 fine-dining spot for high-end Creole fare, plus an intimate courtyard. This is where Mary Ann and her family have brunch and celebrate the Friday of Mardi Gras every single year!

A favorite for all New Orleans locals. Arguably the best in the city!
Mister Mao (Uptown)
Myles, Lacey, Chris, and Mary Ann had their first dinner, just the four of them, at Mister Mao!! Great asian fusion! So delicious.
