When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than July 1st. (The RSVP section of our website will not open until formal invitations have been sent out later this Spring.)

Do you have hotel rooms blocked for the wedding?

Answer

We have 10 rooms blocked with the Canal Park Lodge at a discounted rate on a first come, first serve basis. We also have a discount code available with the Holiday Inn Express and Suites. Please check out our Travel page for more information and other recommended hotels. Also, if you would prefer to book an AirBnb or VRBO, we would be happy to recommend which neighborhoods to search for!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We kindly request that you dress in semi-formal or cocktail attire. Please no jeans, t-shirts, or tennis shoes. Much of our venue is outdoors in the grass, so please keep this in mind when selecting your shoes!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is ample parking available at the venue.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive 30 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony. This will allow you time to park, time to get acquainted with the layout of the venue, and time to find your seats. If you arrive late, you may be asked to sit out the ceremony.

Can I take pictures of or record the ceremony?

Answer

We have hired photographer(s) and videographer(s) so that our guests do not have to worry about capturing our big day for us. For this reason, we are having an "unplugged" ceremony, and we kindly ask that you put your phone on silent or turn it off, and put it away. This will allow you to sit back, relax, and be in the moment with us on this joyous occasion!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! Our kids will be a big part of our wedding day and we would love to have your kids there as well! We will have some activities available for the kids during the reception.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

As we already have pretty much everything we need, we have chosen not to register for physical gifts at any stores. Your presence is the greatest gift we can ask for! If you still wish to give a gift, we would be forever grateful for a contribution towards our honeymoon fund. You can check out the Registry section of our website for more details.
