Both Kraig & Nicole happened to park in the same parking lot at Country Fest. Kraig made friends with the people parked next to him - who just so happened to be Nicole's coworker who she was meeting up with. Kraig started singing which caught Nicole's attention immediately - and then melted when she saw his blue eyes. Kraig asked for her number just for Nicole to text him within minutes of them parting ways. Kraig and his buddy (now groomsman, Pat) managed to sneak Nicole and her friend (now Maid of Honor, Amber) down to their lower level seats - MAJOR UPGRADE from the nosebleeds they were in originally. They sang, danced, and eventually sealed it with a kiss. Nicole said it was "Immediate Fireworks." & they have been together ever since.

Kraig, Nicole, and a few friends decided to plan a bike ride to Hampton Beach the day before a big Fourth of July Vacation. Nicole had sensed that week that Kraig was acting odd and mentioned it to her friend/Matron of Honor, Kassandra. Kassandra texted Kraig just to see if it was all in Nicole's head or if this was the real deal. IT WAS THE REAL DEAL. She distracted Nicole by having her find the best bike ride route to the beach. They took the ride, and Nicole had no idea the whole time there was a Ring sitting in the saddle bag right next to her. They drove by the water, went and had lunch, and on the way back, Kassandra insisted we take a ride back by the wall which had a gorgeous view of the water. Kraig asked Nicole to take a picture and Kassandra hit record on her phone. "You aren't about to propose are you?" Nicole asked. "Of course not!" Kraig replied. a few "photos" were taken by Kassandra. "If I was about to ask you to marry me it would look something like this...." To which Nicole ran away..... In complete and utter shock she did not believe this was the real deal, in the most beautiful spot... Realizing she looked at Kraig on one knee with a ring box in his hand she ran back over to him and proceeded to scream "ARE YOU KIDDING?! SHUT UP. YOU'RE LYING. ARE YOU SERIOUS?! DO MY PARENTS KNOW?! SHUT UP. IM GOING TO CRY!" Jeez Nicole..... Let Kraig ask the question.... "Will you marry me?" "YEAHHHH!!!" Probably one of the funniest memories to date, but we cannot wait to share some amazing memories with all of you!! See you in Concord!
