Welcome to the Latch Heldman wedding website! We would like to first thank our family and friends for loving and supporting us throughout our journey. We are truly blessed to have you all in our lives and we cannot wait to celebrate with everyone!

Andrew and Christine met in fall of 2017 at Mesquites in Lubbock, Texas through a mutual friend (according to Christine LOL). Andrew will tell you a different story. Christine lived in Lubbock at the time and Andrew lived in Austin. Andrew was in town with some friends for the Texas Tech v Arizona State football game. They hung out together with their friends after the football game (at Mesquites), but didn’t keep in touch. God had different timing for this beautiful couple. Fast forward to July 2021 - Andrew is living in Phoenix and Christine is living in Dallas. Christine saw a photo of Andrew golfing with said mutual friend and thought Andrew looked very handsome. Christine slid into those DMs and a spark was ignited. The two would talk every day and have facetime dates often talking for all hours of the night or watching various TV shows, such as The Amazing Race and Breaking Bad. Andrew and Christine quickly realized that they had several things in common... both came from wonderful families, both shared a love for travel, both are Christians, and both had goals in life that aligned. Andrew had to move to Columbus, Ohio for work, but visited Christine in Dallas at the end of October 2021 and the first official date was at a Dallas Stars game. Go Stars! A few weeks after the first date, Andrew met Christine in Pittsburgh for the weekend and they toured Heinz Field, ate at Primanti brothers, walked along the river, and explored downtown Pittsburgh. Andrew visited Christine in Dallas once more in November before Christine flew to Denver for Andrews family Christmas vacation in Breckenridge, CO. Christine was in Tampa, FL for a work conference when she found out that she could go on the Heldman Christmas vacation so she was scrambling for winter clothes in the middle of Tampa. HA! As nervous as she was, Christine flew to Denver and met Andrew's family for the first time and had a blast. Each day they would venture over to another town to ride the gondolas and shop. On the third day they were in Beaver Creek. Andrew and Christine were walking to the car when everyone was leaving to head back to Breckenridge and Andrew told Christine "I love you" out of nowhere for the very first time.... in the basement of the parking garage.... in Beaver Creek, CO lol. From that moment on, they both knew that they had found their forever person. Soon after, Christine flew to Columbus the week before Christmas and ended up staying through New Years. Andrew met Christine's family on Christmas Day of 2021 when the Latch fam flew north to visit family. It was such a fun Christmas! Andrew and Christine continued to travel back and forth between Dallas and Columbus visiting each other until Andrew got a promotion at work and moved to Dallas in September of 2021. Andrew proposed to Christine at their favorite sushi spot on New Years Eve 2022 and their families and friends could not be more excited for these two to tie the knot.
