Please plan to arrive between 1:30pm and 1:45pm at St. Joseph's Church to allow time to park and find a seat before the ceremony begins. Your promptness will ensure that our day begins on time and runs smoothly.
The ceremony will end at 3:00pm and cocktail hour will not start until 5:00pm. We encourage you to use this time to freshen up, check into your hotel, or grab a drink at the S.S. Beverly bar at The Curry Estate (or any of the other bars/breweries in Hopewell Junction or Fishkill). Please note that the The Curry Estate is approximately a 30 minute drive from the church.
We would love to see our family and friends dress their best! Please wear cocktail or formal attire for our event. Please no jeans or white dresses. If you have any questions about attire, please reach out and ask!
Yes, drinks are on us during cocktail hour and the reception! There will be a two signature drinks and a variety of beer, wine, and premium hard liquor available.
Yes, there will be lots of food during cocktail hour, and dinner will be served later in the night. Bring your appetite!
We will only be able to accommodate the children of guests traveling internationally for our event. If you have any questions, please reach out.
Your formal invitation will specify how many seats have been saved in your honor.
We understand that many in our party have alternative dietary needs. Our venue will be able to accommodate any of your needs. Please ensure that you list your dietary needs in your RSVP.
The ceremony will be inside of the church. Cocktail hour will be outside under a covered pavilion. Dinner and dancing will be indoors. There will be fire pits and other places to sit outside during the reception if you need a break from the noise!
Weather in New York in early fall is typically warm (think anywhere from 60 degrees to 80 degrees) during the day and chilly at night. We recommend wearing something that can be comfortable in both the heat and if it’s a little chilly.
