Question

Are kids allowed?

Answer

We love your little ones, but this will be an adults-only celebration. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Elevated Cocktail Attire We kindly ask that guests dress in neutral colors with an emphasis on luxurious textures—think silks, satins, pleats, or subtle shimmer. Your chic style will make the evening feel truly special. To maintain a cohesive look, we ask that floral prints on dresses be avoided- solids only.

Question

When should we plan to arrive and leave?

Answer

We recommend arriving by Thursday, July 2nd, to be able to join us for our welcome party that evening. With our wedding being on the holiday weekend, most guests are staying through the weekend, leaving on Sunday. Feel free to make a trip out of it as there is plenty to see and do in Charleston!

Question

Where should we stay?

Answer

Our travel tab will have all the information you'll need. If you plan to book your own reservations separately from what we're offering, I would recommend staying in either downtown Charleston or Mt Pleasant.

Question

Should I rent a car?

Answer

This will be up to you. Depending on where you end up staying, Uber is a great option. Most of the hotels we have room blocks at are a 10-minute drive to our venue. Since we have people staying at various locations, we will not offer a shuttle service.

Question

Is there parking at the Venue site?

Answer

Yes, there is available parking on the venue site. We do reccommend Ubering if you plan to indulge in a few drinks!

Question

What should I expect from the Welcome Party?

Answer

Join us for a fun and relaxed welcome party to kick off the weekend! We’ll be gathering on Shem Creek, a lively waterfront filled with boats, energy, and beautiful views. Enjoy light bites, drinks, and a welcome bag from us as you mingle and settle in. With a scenic boardwalk and plenty of great restaurants nearby, it’s the perfect spot to explore, grab a bite, and spend time with friends and family before the big day. We can’t wait to celebrate with you! We highly reccommend Ubering as parking can be a hastle and you do have to pay to park.

Question

What are the plans for the 4th of July?

Answer

Since our wedding is on July 3rd, we don't have anything formal planned for the 4th. Charleston has amazing celebrations, including fireworks over the harbor and plenty of fun events around town. If you'll be staying through the weekend, we definitely encourage you to enjoy the holiday and make the most of your time in the city.

Question

Will we be providing transportation?

Answer

Since we have people staying at various locations, we will not offer a shuttle service.
