Whether you call it chance, destiny, or a lucky "swipe right", we were blessed to have met each other at just the right time. Young, clueless, and in the middle of a worldwide pandemic, we were excited to be meeting someone new and to enjoy a beautiful Summer day by the boulevard. It quickly became obvious that we shared common values and interests, and were happy to listen and learn about those we didn't share. What sticks out most in our memories is just how much we laughed. We had no way of knowing that what we were starting would end in marriage, but the effortless conversation and instant connection was the beginning of our forever.

Under the guise of a couples photoshoot on our family cruise, Florens had planned to propose in front of the Castillo San Cristobal in Old San Juan Puerto Rico. A photographer was hiding amongst tourists, capturing the moment when he got down on one knee.
