They were introduced by Brittany's cousin during the summer of 2010. They became friends and then began dating in October of 2010 while in high school.

Some of the pictures taken while in Iceland were on the Save The Date cards. While in Iceland, they became engaged at a waterfall named Gljfrabui they hiked back into through a cavern. This location was secluded and breathtakingly gorgeous.
