This is the neighborhood where we’ll be getting married, and it’s one of our favorite spots in Dallas. Very artsy. Very fun. Perfect for walking around with no real plan. And please do yourself a favor and get a slice from Emporium Pies while you’re there.
This is the area we visited for our very first date, and it's nearby where we both grew up. It’s full of walkable bars and great restaurants, and it’s especially fun if you’re looking for a livelier night scene. Still a great food stop any time of day.
This one is extra special. Parkit Market and Roses and More are Todora family businesses, all located right on the same corner. I basically grew up here, and after we met, Daniel even worked there for a bit too! It was started 63 years ago by my grandparents, Ann and Frank Todora, and it is still a Dallas staple to this day. Roses and More is also generously providing the florals for our wedding, so when you see the beautiful arrangements that day, you will know they are made with love and by our family.
If you want a break from city energy, the Arboretum is a really pretty place to walk around for a bit. It’s one of the best places for a picnic and will be especially beautiful in May.
We go out of our way to eat in Carrollton pretty regularly. It’s a bit of a drive, but absolutely worth it, especially if you love Korean and Asian cuisine. Favorite spots: Chica San Chen (boba tea), Yin Tang (hot pot), Somisomi (taiyaki ice cream)
One of our favorite dinner spots in Dallas. The space is so beautiful and the food is incredible. It’s perfect if you want something a little special - just be prepared, it's valet only!
We go here for burgers at least once a week (I wish I was kidding)... They really are just that good.
If you’re on the hunt for actually good coffee, Houndstooth and Ascension are both solid options. Perfect for a pre-wedding pick-me-up!
