Kayla and Dean's paths first crossed years ago—back in middle school, when Dean was on the football field for St. Barts and Kayla was cheering on the sidelines. Though they knew of each other, life had other plans, and it wasn’t until years later, at 21, that fate finally brought them together. One night out at McFadden's with mutual friends, everything changed. They spoke briefly throughout the night, but Kayla remembers sitting in a booth around 2 a.m., waiting for her Uber, when “I Wanna Dance with Somebody” came on. Dean started busting moves, trying to pull her onto the dance floor. The night ended with laughter and then a little chaos. Dean somehow got “lost” until the next afternoon, happily partying with strangers, while friends/family went on a full search party and were texting Kayla asking if he was with her. From that night on, they were inseparable. What started as friendship quickly turned into something much deeper. Within two months, Kayla knew she couldn’t let Dean go, and Dean knew just as surely that Kayla was his forever. What once was a chaotic beginning has become one of their favorite funny memories of the night their forever began.
