Rick and I met in 2014 while working in Plymouth, MA. Our positions kept us on the run and long distance for weeks at a time, but even with the distance our relationship kept getting stronger. Getting drinks after work as friends soon turned into movies and dinner dates. With all the hours on the road, we were able to find time for each other, as well as for our families. After a couple of years, very much in love, we moved over the "border" to the Granite State and welcomed new jobs. Our relationship has been built on strong family roots, a thirst for adventure, and an appreciation for all the little things life has to offer. We have been blessed to have had the opportunity to travel together and explore different cultures, visiting over 21 States, and 7 Countries over the last 5 years. It is true, running through the airports and scrambling for bags does bring out the best and worst in you. However, whatever life throws our way (even the busy airports), we persevere, we overcome, and we continue to lean on each other. I will admit, I do lean harder- Rick is definitely calmer than I am. In 2018 our relationship met new challenges, including the purchase of a foreclosed home. We jumped wholeheartedly into the Fixer-Upper experience. The long “To-Do” lists on the kitchen counter didn’t scare Rick off; he surprised me with a perfect proposal on December 8th, 2018!
