Whether in Tulum, the Amalfi Coast, Thailand, Manhattan or in Northern California, Ruth and Todd fell in love crashing various Beach Clubs. As you will experience during our wedding weekend, Beach Clubs are all about enjoying a fantastic view and making friends. We chose this scenic beach town for our wedding because it brings so many of life's wonders and adventures to one place. Half Moon Bay is all about taking in the saltwater scented air and enjoying the moment. We’ve planned events throughout the weekend to connect with each of you and make this a memorable trip for all. Just northwest of Silicon Valley between San Francisco to the North and Santa Cruz to the South, Half Moon Bay is a special spot in the middle of the Bay Area Peninsula, secluded along the beautiful Pacific Ocean. It's characterized by its spectacular sunsets, misty morning, and patio side views. During the weekend you can marvel at the enormity of big wave surfing, take a walk amongst towering coastal redwoods, and bike along lush blufftop meadows over the wide sandy beach. We invite you to be a part of our celebration of love, community and culture in Half Moon Bay. We hope to create an adventure for us all!
The insider tip of a Jewish wedding is that happy hour starts before the ceremony, so you'll want to be on time, even if you are Persian. Our Jewish identity is deeply rooted thanks to our families instilling the beautiful customs of our religion. We plan to integrate both Sephardic and Ashkenazi traditions, so you'll want to have a front row seat. The wedding ceremony is on Sunday, as it is customary for Jews not to get married on Shabbat.
