Matron of Honor
Heena is my best friend turned sister. She’s always there for me as my shoulder to cry on but also as someone who will go on basically any adventure with me. We do everything together, from errands for our parents, cooking and eating together, garba/dancing till our legs fall off, to traveling and road tripping together. Best of all, she’s unapologetically herself and allows me to be the same (which sometimes leads to us bickering—but hey, that’s what sisters do). Heena and her husband Manthan were the decoy photo shoot for Todd’s proposal in Costa Rica! They got me good!
Best man and Funsize Groomsman
Adrian is my oldest friend. Matty is my youngest friend. Adrian is the person I wanted to be like growing up and the person I had to beat at everything. Matty is the pickiest eater I know and a jiu-jitsu phenom. They also happen to be my older brother and my baby brother.
Bridesmaids
As cousins, we spent almost every summer and winter break together growing up. They also happen to be the ones who taught me English and well, lots of other things only those people who understand your family can teach you. You wouldn’t at first guess that we’re family because we are quite different from each other, except for the fact that we were each the first born of our families. We’ll always think of ourselves as the only sane ones during family gatherings when in truth, we’re all quirky and weird in our own ways. Regardless of the craziness, we hold the memory of our grandma close to our hearts and intend to keep our family close forever.
Groomsmen
These are my closest friends from high school and also my college roommates at UCF. We spent countless hours together navigating college life, playing basketball and video games, and going on random adventures. These guys have literally watched me grow from an awkward kid into an awkward adult. If you ask nicely, they could probably tell you A LOT of embarrassing stories about me.
Bridesmaid
Helly is Devika’s younger cousin/sister. We grew up in the same house in India and were raised by the same people, though at different times. I grew up with her parents for the first 5 years of my life and she’s grown up with mine in the last 10. We play similar roles in our family of being the go-to-girls for anything and everything someone needs though I’ll say she helps out much more elegantly than I ever could. She’s one of the sweetest people I know and someone I learn from, despite her being 5 years my younger. She’ll be the youngest of the wedding party crew but will be sure to have a blast ;)
Groomsman
Evan and I met at Georgetown and immediately bonded over our mutual love for basketball, Calvin and Hobbes, and generally being weird people. The first time we actually met, we had to defend each other on the basketball court and developed a friendly rivalry that persists to this day. These days, we live in DC together and continue to play 1-on-1 when we have time. Evan usually wins.
Bridesmaids
The four of us are the “Edmonds Girls”, fondly named after the not so fond building we lived in at Boston College. We became friends within the first month of college and have been pretty inseparable since. I love these girls and admire their unique qualities; it’s been an absolute privilege watching them progress in their careers and fall in love with their significant others. The beautiful thing about our friendship is we’re great together but also have our own unique relationships with each other. Near or far, we’ll be besties for life. We’ve already begun the many family friend trips we’ll be taking together and how we’ll spoil each other’s kids.

Ronak is Devika's younger brother and the family camping guru. Ronak welcomed me into the family the first time we met and we've been buds ever since. He recently led us on overnight trips through Zion and Death Valley National Parks. A University of Michigan grad and ardent UMich sports fan, it's a lot of fun to watch him fall into despair during games. Also, he rarely beats me in Super Smash Bros.
Bridesmaid
I met Christina by a random room assignment in medical school (turns out NYMC did something right). We did essentially everything together, including lotssss of studying (with loads of complaining), coffee shop exploring, attempts at working out, and trips to the grocery store where I slowly got her to share my obsession of cheese. All of this culminated in an epic trip (#grandmastakeoneurope) to 7 cities in 2 weeks where we not only managed to not get tired of each other but also realized our similarities span to traveling as well. She’s all the way across the country working hard to save people’s eyes but shares her dorky excitement for it all with me and our fellow mean girl, William —>
Groomsman
Will is a dear friend to both of us! He graduated with Devika from New York Med, and was Todd's roommate at Chamberlain House in Jersey, along with Todd's dogs Chase and Charlie, and Will's cat Lucy. A fiercely proud Brooklyn native and Yankees/Giants/Knicks fan, Will is my go to for discussing sports, food, and generally funny things. He's also the best person to bring with you for karaoke.
Bridesmaid
Nida is my high school twin / attached at the hip bestie. Because you usually couldn’t talk about one of us without the other, we were better known as Nidavika. She’s got the biggest heart and has made me a better person since 2005, despite some of our innocent sneak moves in high school. Though we don’t get to see each other often, we pick up right where we left off, immediately being weird together. She’ll also be playing the role of decorator for some of our events and showing off just one of her many skills. She’s a gem of a friend and someone I feel lucky to have known for so long.
Groomsmen
Kyle and Jimmy are the friends that got me through the Rutgers era. Jimmy was an MD/PhD student that worked closely with my lab, and Kyle was our undergraduate researcher. Jimmy and I bonded over basketball, video games, and pizza, while Kyle and I bonded over science, talking about life, and also pizza. Kyle is an alien: tremendously successful despite his young age, ridiculously athletic, and still one of the nicest and humblest guys you'll ever meet. Jimmy has a 90% lifetime 3-point shooting percentage and used his monster brain to complete the first of his two doctorates.
