The zoo is always a great trip! Around the winter months there is the Phoenix Zoo Lights experience which is one of the best ways to spend an evening walking and taking in some fresh air.
Though a bit of a drive from the festivities, the Musical Instrument Museum is a wonderful experience. Both bride and groom are avid music lovers and this is a nice way for even those with limit music background to enjoy themselves and have a good time.
