Todd and I vaguely knew eachother as acquaintances before fate willed us into signing up to take our Firefighter 1 course together. We really had no choice but to get to know eachother over the course of traveling to and from class a minimum of twice a week and we began to commiserate over homework. We would meet up to do homework and go over any new things that we learned in class but also began to find that conversation in general flowed relatively easy between the two of us. Eventually, several mutual friends and family members began picking to see if there was something more than just homework commiseration and a developing friendship going on, which there hoenstly was not! It was after so many people questioned our “status” that we began to realize how much we were enjoying our time together. Todd began making dinner for our weekly homework sessions and at one point he announced “you know you’re going to have to let me take you on a real date right.” From that point forward we have taken on phase after phase and things have always just felt so easily right between us. From “no titles Todd” (as my family aptly named him) to officially dating, moving in together, buying a home, and becoming engaged... each step has come together so effortlessly that there is seriously no doubt that it was meant to be! We have consistently strived for teamwork in our relationship and our household and we are now excited to embark on this journey as husband and wife. We are thoroughly enjoying the opportunity to create our own combined perfect day to share with you all!
