We wanted a low-key wedding but we also wanted to mark the occasion too—so it’s a morning church wedding in June with cake and punch and homemade mints afterwards! Our wedding is an homage to old-school Southern summer weddings from the past. So get out your “Sunday Best” attire. Think bright colors, Lily Pulitzer, Vineyard Vines, seersucker, and white trousers . . . we want to see hats and fedoras, floral prints, and fresh colors galore! Have fun with it! One of the reasons we decided on a morning wedding is so that there will plenty of time for folks to go have fun afterwards! While you’re all dolled up, make a lunch reservation at one of our favorite locally owned restaurants (see “Things To Do!”) or go for a picnic! Spend the afternoon shopping at Friendly Center. Maybe go to the Asheboro zoo!? Have lunch and a walk at Reynolda House in Winston-Salem. It is our hope that our event will spur you on to have a memorable afternoon with your family and friends. Take pictures and text them to us?! Show us what “dressed up trouble” you’re able to get into! We may post them on social media and or to this website! Nothing would make us happier than to see you having a blast on the afternoon of June 14th! Create some memories and share them with us!!!
