Matron of Honor
I "met" Christine while we were both in college, her in Kirksville and me in Warrensburg, through a mutual friend. We swapped information and messaged irregularly, but didn't officially meet up until she moved to Kansas City after school! Since then I feel as life has only brought us closer. Making and keeping friends as an adult is hard, but not with Christine. Christine shows up in our friendship in every way that counts. I couldn’t imagine our wedding day without her as my Matron of Honor.
Bridesmaid
I met Julia through her now-husband, Tyler, during undergrad. Our friendship has always been long-distance, but we are always able to pick up where we left off as if we didn't go months without seeing one another. Julia has continuously been part of my life, choosing to do so every step of the way. I couldn’t imagine our wedding day without her.
Bridesmaid
Shanna’s one of my longest friends. We met working in a restaurant over 10 years ago. We bonded over the drama that is the restaurant world and were so glad to leave that world behind us when we chose our careers. From annoying teenager to a mature adult (😉), Shanna’s continually chosen to be part of my life as my friend. We’ve definitely grown up together. I couldn’t imagine our wedding day without her.
Bridesmaid
As my cousin, Laney was one of my first friends! I have fond memories of spending time with her and wanting to be like her. I also have memories of her chasing me with a fake spider. It’s been such an honor to grow with her, in childhood and adulthood. I couldn’t imagine our wedding day without her in it.
Bridesmaid/Officiant
Toree is also one of my first friends. As the eldest, she took on the role of “big sister” to not just Laney, but also to me. I feel so privileged to grow up with Toree. Toree has played a big role in my life, in more ways I can count and in more ways than she can imagine. My life is full of joyful memories with Toree and I cannot wait to add one more! I couldn't imagine our wedding day without her.
Best Man
Michael Jr., fondly known to many as Mikey, was my first friend -- my older brother.
