Wedding Party

The Wedding Website of Haley Munson and Todd Hochmuth
There are some people in life that make you laugh a little louder, smile a little bigger, and live a little bit better. It is our honor and privilege to introduce you to ours.

Brett Hochmuth

Officiant

Brett is Todd's older brother and someone who has shared some incredible moments with the couple throughout their lives. It is because of Brett and his non-profit GOALS that Haley and Todd met. Brett and Todd have been able share a number of adventures and unforgettable moments together. From one of the first times Brett tried snowboarding at Easter (he ran into the Easter Bunny who's head proceeded to roll down the run and sent kids running for the candy) to flying a plane together, the memories they have shared are priceless. Each time they are together they leave with sore muscles from pretending they are still 10 years old on sleds and water skis, hurt livers from pretending Makers Mark is good for them, and several more smile lines from laughing uncontrollably.

Kristin Hochmuth

Bridesmaid

Haley first met Kristin when she was working on the river, through Kristin's husband Brett, who happens to be Todd's brother. Some of the best times in Haley's entire life have been with Kristin. They've spent beautiful nights under the stars camping, swam rapids together on the river, traveled together from one coast to the other, baked cookies, hiked many a mile, and she even attempted to teach Haley to knit. They've survived torrential downpours, bears, sandstorms, Class IV rapids, and being snowed in while the entire household had the flu. They've always been more like sisters than friends, and the beauty that they are finally becoming sisters is a happy twist of fate. If it wasn't for Brett and Kristin, Todd and Haley never would have met, and for that we will be forever grateful.

Charlotte Dickens

Bridesmaid

Charlotte is Haley's cousin but they have been more like sisters their entire lives. When Charlotte was born she instantly became Haley's favorite new “doll”. They were inseparable in childhood and they are inseparable now. No one is a match for Haley and Charlotte's team in any game, as they routinely finish each other's sentences. They share a love for Christmas, and can duel back and forth with National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation quotes for hours. She also makes the best Crunch Bunch in the entire world. Charlotte was a student in Todd’s brother’s Science class in middle school. Mr. Hochmuth, as she still calls him, often told her that she looked like Tina Fey, and rumor has it that he once put a picture of her face on the overhead projector and drew glasses on it to prove his point!

Kathleen Bellamy

Bridesmaid

Kathleen and Haley met while working for a rafting photography company on Clear Creek. They quickly realized that they had so much in common, including the fact that one of Kathleen's good friends is Haley's cousin Michael. They spent countless hours shooting photos together, rafting together, hiking together, going to HUNDREDS of Red Rocks concerts together (one of which they even were invited to go back stage with Slightly Stoopid because they were their private rafting photographers!!) and so much more. Whenever these two were on a team for the annual “girls pick guys” (ask Haley what it is ACTUALLY called) rafting race, they almost always took first! Kathleen is one of the kindest souls that I have ever known, and I count myself lucky every single day to call her my friend.

Stephanie Milner

Bridesmaid

Stephanie is Haley’s oldest friend, having met in 2nd grade at Georgetown Elementary School. They bonded over gymnastics, skiing, and hiking 14ers. These two spent many a night on Stephanie’s living room floor watching Bye Bye Birdy and Grease, going to the State Fair and singing their hearts out to Clint Black, or imagining what their lives would be like as they hiked more trails than they could count. They were on ski team together in high school, and also went on Outward Bound together. The memories spent big spooning cous-cous, rescuing a friend with a broken leg from the highest peak in Utah, or wearing nothing but diapers and PFDs on the biggest rapid in Cataract Canyon, will leave memories that are never to be forgotten. Thank you, Stephanie, for always being my adventure buddy!!

Paul Tharp

Groomsman

Paul has been my best friend since we were young whippersnappers. We grew up together and I have had the absolute pleasure of sharing a lifetime of memories with Paul. We've done everything from building homes and part of a church in a border town in Mexico during our High School years together to random road tips to celebrating the births of each of our kids together. Paul is the type of friend that tells you how it is whether you want to hear it or not & that has helped me through my life to be a better person (I hope). Paul is a successful real estate broker in the Minneapolis, Minnesota area where he lives with his wife Cara and their Son Luke. We share a love for sports & if you want to be extremely jealous, ask him about the nation wide tour of MLB fields that he's been to!

Fred Freitag

Groomsman

Todd and Fred (aka "Frodd") first met when they both were going through a 3 week training class for Shire Pharmaceuticals in 2007. They not only endured incredibly high pressure, cut throat training, but along way became close friends and supporters for each other. From that training class to today, they have shared some of the best memories in each other's lives. From being snowed in Chicago during the blizzard of 2011 aka "snowmagedon" to work meetings from Vegas to Orlando, hunting trips sitting in a snowstorm underground to golf and so much more, they have become more like brothers than friends.

Homer Montemayer

Groomsman

I've had the pleasure of knowing Homer for a long time and shared countless memories together. Whether we're competing in Fantasy Football, sharing a beer while cheering on our beloved Chicago Bears or just hanging out together, Homer has been someone who I can depend on for everything. His dedication and love to his beautiful family, his friends and even his co-workers is unlike anything you will ever find. We have shared our highest highs and worked through our lowest lows together always coming out on top. I am so honored to have Homer stand with us and start this new chapter in Haley's and my life. Homer is on the right in this picture and my other Groomsman Chris is on the left.

Chris Uptmor

Groomsman

Chris and I met many years ago and ever since that happened, we have had a friendship that felt more like having another brother than it was a friend. We have traveled, been to concerts, enjoyed taking out kids places together and moved to different cities in the process. I have been honored to share some great adventures with Chris and in the process, those memories are some of the best in my life. Chris, his wife Lisa and their kids Will and Norah have blessed my life and will continue to do so for years and years to come. This photo is from Chris, Homer and myself went to see The Dave Matthews Band in Indiana.

Harper Hochmuth

Flower Girl

Harper is Todd's smart, spunky, fun loving and beautiful daughter. She loves raspberries, Charlie Puth, the color blue, and she knows that her Papa is Superman. She has a puppy sister named Pippa, and will soon have a second puppy sister named Bella (Haley's fur baby). She is SO very excited for all the new adventures that our family will have together! Through this journey, Harper has come to love Haley in so many ways and so incredibly naturally. Harper helped Todd propose to Haley and if you haven't seen Harper's work, it's definitely worth checking out! Currently she is in 3rd grade and also loves her extracurricular activities which include Gymnastics, Dance and Girl Scouts. Believe it or not, she also loves playing Lacrosse!

Molly and Maya Hochmuth

Flower Girl

These two brilliant, kind, adventurous young ladies are Todd's nieces. Haley has known them their entire lives as well, and loves them like her own. Some of our favorite memories with these two girls involve giggles for days on unforgettable river trips, racing each other down the ski slopes, and catching fish "in the pines". They have the same adventurous spirits as their parents, and will forever have our love and admiration. We love you girls! You are our favorite Molly and Maya in the whole wide world!
