Fun fact: We met on a dating app! We both swiped right and I made the first move-I asked him to teach me to sew. Fast forward to a lunch date at Panera Bread with yummy Duck Donuts....and we've been sew in love ever since!

On February 27, 2021 we started off the day with a drive to Boone for ice skating. I mostly used Zachary as the railing, but he definitely got the hang of it-he's got some skills! We spent the rest of day together: going to lunch, exploring Blowing Rock, and ending our time sitting on a bench sipping on hot chocolate. I thought we we'd go to his parents' house for dinner, but he surprised me by driving to his grandparent's house. We went around the back as always, and to my surprise...the archway to the backyard was covered in lights! Zachary took me down to the archway and the rest was like a dream. All of a sudden in lights on the ground read, "How about forever?" How could I say no to that?
