Wedding Party

Brooklyn Humphries

Maid of Honor

Brooklyn is Kristin's daughter and is just as happy about the wedding as we are! She loves watching any type of wedding show and used to make Mom and Grandma orchestrate weddings with her stuffed animals for hours on end - so she has been preparing for this day for years! Brooklyn is a tennis player, bowler, Academy Singer, and the sweetest kid you'll ever meet (not that we're biased!) Thanks to Toby, she now loves to go bow shooting and to any type of hockey game - and the two of them love to team up against Mom.

Rew Hafner

Best Man

Rew is my brother and my best friend for 31 years. We have had the fortune to attend school together at the grade school, high school and college levels. We played hockey together 6 times growing up, youth - high school - juniors - and college. We have been roommates multiple times for over 20 years. Rew has always had a way of making me laugh and being a role model in consistent exercise. I had the fortune of playing hockey again with Rew in Men's league the last 2 years, and we like to golf together during the spring/summer. I have so many memories and great experiences with my brother that I would need a book for them all.

Jessica Rydzewski

Matron of Honor

Jess is Kristin's cousin/best friend/sister/partner-in-crime... and one of the select few who truly understands our crazy little family! This Ohio girl now lives in San Francisco with her husband, Brad (whose wedding I was the Maid of Honor for 11 years ago!) While our lives have gone in different directions - I'm living the suburban mom life while Jess jet-sets all over the world while hanging with celebrities - it always feels like we're back "home" whenever we're together.

Brett Blatchford

Groomsman

Brett is my oldest friend going back 23 years to when we played Pee Wee hockey together. Brett thoroughly enjoyed making me play roller hockey on wet black top at his parents because he somehow figured out how to skate on it, and I would just fall the whole time. Brett and I went to high school together as well at St.Francis de Sales. Brett and his family have always treated me like one of their own. Brett has moved around a bit, but it gave me a reason to go visit some different places like Dallas TX and Denver CO. I had the honor of being a part of he and his wife Kaci's wedding. Brett has moved closer to home now, which has been great because we get to hang out more often. We have even been able to play some hockey together the last couple years in our Alumni Hockey tournament.

Heidi Hafner

Bridesmaid

Heidi is Toby's sister and a force to be reckoned with. Toby had me so worked up before meeting her the first time, I was convinced she would never like me! Lucky for me, we're actually a lot alike (I mean, who wouldn't get along with a gal who loves naps, books, and wine?!) Heidi is fiercely loyal to those she loves and would do anything for her family and friends. I'm excited to have an official sister after all these years and Brooklyn is beyond happy to have gained such a cool aunt! And yes, Heidi is single and ready to mingle!

Tommy Gerken

Groomsman

Tommy and I became friends in High School, which funny enough was because he knew Brett through hockey and Luke from baseball. Tommy and I have shared many great memories together over the years. We have been to Las Vegas together, PIB trips, hunting, Alumni Hockey Tournaments, Golf trips, toured some Colleges and many weekends at the lake. Tommy has always been a great friend to me, and always willing to help me out. He has always included me in his family events, and treated me like a brother. We still play hockey together on Sunday evenings, swing the golf sticks, deer hunt together, and share some laughs all the time!

Katie Hafner

Bridesmaid

Katie is married to Toby's brother, Rew - and was the first member of the family I got to meet. I knew we'd get along from the second we bonded over a friend's "fresh" baby... and I was right! Katie and Rew recently had a baby of their own, our niece Penelope. Katie made sure to include me in every aspect of her wedding day last year (even though I was just "Toby's girlfriend" at the time), and I can't wait to have her next to me on our big day!

Luke Barton

Groomsman

Thanks to Luke I got my first Jug in high school, and we have been best friends ever since (19 years ago). Luke and I have also shared many great times together : PIB trips, Golf Trips, Deer Hunting, weekends at the lake, college road trips, adventures in Findlay, and some Softball. Luke and I work together at Sofo Foods, and enjoy slinging pizzas! We have also been roommates, which was the ultimate Oscar and Felix situation. Luke has always included me in any activity he's involved in. There's not a book big enough for the stories and laughs we have shared.

Kelsey Hogrefe

Bridesmaid

Kelsey and I met several years ago through a mutual acquaintance and became instant friends. She has a heart of gold and would give you the shirt off her back if you needed it. Kelsey's become like a part of our family and is always up for whatever adventure is thrown her way. She knows how to have a good time and will no doubt be one of the last ones standing at our wedding celebration!

Jimmy Spratt

Groomsman

Jimmy and I became friends during our college tenure at BGSU. We actually had been teammates in a Spring Hockey Tournament when we were teenagers, so that was our reminiscing to which we became great friends. Jim and I share the same passion for hockey, and competition. Thanks to Jim, I made a lot of great friends in college. He always included me in summer skates and anything going on with the boys on the hockey team. We became roommates not too long ago, and enjoyed two successful Men's League Championships together. He attributes his moving out as a big "you're welcome" to Kristin since we met not too long after that.
