Marrakech Menara Airport

*IMPORTANT NOTES* - You cannot exchange your cash for Moroccan Dirham before you enter the country as it is a closed currency. You can get cash out from ATMs or through the currency exchange at the airport as well as from multiple places in the city (which may be cheaper). You also are not allowed to take more than 2000 Dirham out of the country, so ensure you exchange this back to your own currency (or spend it) before you leave! - As a mainly cash based country, you may need to take some out for a taxi from the airport to wherever you are staying. There are official yellow airport taxis which can be found by you queueing up at the counter just outside the terminal. It should cost approx 100 MAD to the city depending on where you stay (which translates to around $20 NZD, $15 SGD, $100 HKD or £10 GBP). - Some good budget friendly taxi apps for getting around the city are inDrive and Roby. They are mostly app-order and then pay the cash directly to the driver, however I do think there is an option to pre-add your card details and choose that option before each ride. - The airport is located around 4 miles from Marrakech City Centre, so it's roughly 20 minutes in a taxi.

Transport to and from the wedding venue will be provided (locations TBC) for the Friday dinner, Saturday Ceremony & Party along with the Sunday late brunch. We recommend looking at our suggested hotels and finding something that suits you near those spots so that we can have a few pickup points along the way from the City Centre. More information and timings will be added to this website as we draw nearer to the date.
