Our story began in September 2019. Toby came to Cartagena to meet his work team, at the office where Mariale was working in, and it only took one week of getting to know each other at work to become good friends. Every Monday we would talk about our weekend, our pets, plans, and of course, work. Without realizing it, it had become our routine to want to know more about each other. In February 2020 Toby returned to Cartagena for work and without knowing if we liked each other, and undecided the whole week while we analyzed the situation, finally the last day we decided to let ourselves go and confess to each other that we were in love, without thinking about what could happen next. After a year of being locked in the pandemic, going through many moments of joy, unexpected losses, video calls, and constant trips to be able to see each other, Toby returns to Cartagena in 2023 and being in the place where it all started, Mariale says Yes! Today we are excited to share and celebrate with family and friends this new stage we will begin, and finally be together forever.

Nuestra historia comenzó en septiembre de 2019. Toby vino a Cartagena a conocer a su equipo de trabajo, la oficina en la que trabajaba Mariale, y bastó una semana de conocernos en el trabajo para hacernos buenos amigos. Todos los lunes hablábamos de nuestro fin de semana, de nuestras mascotas, de planes y, por supuesto, de trabajo. Sin darnos cuenta, se había convertido en nuestra rutina querer saber más el uno del otro. En febrero de 2020 Toby regresó a Cartagena por trabajo y sin saber si nos gustábamos, e indecisos toda la semana mientras analizábamos la situación, finalmente el último día decidimos dejarnos llevar y confesarnos que estábamos enamorados, sin pensar en lo que podría pasar después. Después de un año de estar encerrados en la pandemia, pasando por muchos momentos de alegría, pérdidas inesperadas, videollamadas y constantes viajes para poder vernos, Toby regresa a Cartagena en el 2023 y estando en el lugar donde todo empezó, Mariale dice ¡Sí! Hoy estamos emocionados por compartir y celebrar con familiares y amigos esta nueva etapa que iniciaremos, y por fin estar juntos para siempre.
