A day to remember

It all started March 2020 when Sami and Kevin met through mutual friends. Sami knew there was something between them when Kevin gave her a double high five over a game of darts. It wasn’t until Halloween that we saw each other again. Kevin got talked into coming to a Halloween party. Little did he know he would see Sami again dressed up like Dale from Step Brothers. Although we shared a few laughs Kevin was a little freaked out by the short hair wig. After a couple more times seeing each other, a ghosting over Instagram, we FINALLY went on our first date Valentines Day 2021. There was lots of pressure on Kevin due to the holiday, but we instantly clicked and went on date after date. This brought us to our journey of dating, and becoming home owners. We knew we were in for the long haul during our endless projects done on the house with the major help of our families. January 2024 Kevin proposed in La Quinta, California overlooking hole 18 of the mountain course. Surrounded by some family and fellow golfers just trying finish their round. After tears and hugs, we came back to Minnesota to share the moments with our friends and family. We can’t wait to celebrate with all of our favorite people June 6th. 2025.
