Located along the Scioto River and Greenway, the Center of Science and Industry (COSI) is a nationally esteemed science center that has delighted Central Ohio with all things science for 60 years, inspiring interest in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) topics and delivering experiential, "hands-on fun" brand of learning. COSI - like science - is for everybody: all ages, backgrounds and abilities. They bring science to life through 300+ interactive experiences, nine galleries featuring world class traveling and permanent exhibitions, explosive live shows, their little kidspace exhibit for learners birth through first grade, and a Planetarium. For their first date Sara and Mike waited in line for at least an hour for free Jeni's. There are many Jeni's in Columbus (the original is in North Market). This is the one closest to the venue. You can even get it from a vending machine in the airport.
One of the nation's largest independent book stores, The Book Loft of German Village is a literary labyrinth composed of 32 rooms of books connected by narrow passageways and staircases. One of the niches the bookstore fills is provides closeouts ("remainders") that are sold at a heavily reduced price. Also a good place to start in historic German Village neighborhood.

Sara recommends the Souffled Egg Sandwhich, New Orleans Iced Coffee, and Blueberry Gallette, Mike recommends the Pour Over Coffee. Multiple locations with closest to venue being in German Village and Italian Village.
Dirty Frank's Hot Dog Palace serves Vienna Beef, vegan and vegetarian hot dogs, cold beer, and drinks. A favorite late night spot if you have the drunchies. The CBJ Dog, Cowgirl Carmen, and tots are pictured and recommended. Also Tums.
