Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

This question can also be phrased "What time should I arrive at the parking address?", to which we'd reply at 11am, as there is no parking available at the venue. There will be two shuttles transporting guests from the parking address to the venue. Because we have hundreds of guests coming, don't be that person that messes around and finds out, haha. Get to the parking address early to save yourself that headache, and shame for being left outside if you get there after the doors are closed. Shuttle ends at 12:30pm. If you are utilizing a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft, we also ask that you arrive to the parking address at 11am so that you can hop on the shuttle to get to the venue. Shuttle ends at 12:30pm. If you're driving your own vehicle to the parking address, the parking is $3. Be sure to take anything from your vehicle that you'll need at the venue (ie. Ladies, a comfortable change of shoes for when you're ready to get out those pumps). Other things you may want to grab are your sunglasses, or jacket/shawl for later in the evening. Doors to the venue open at 12:30pm and CLOSE at 1:00pm. Ceremony begins promptly at 1:00pm. Shuttle services will pick back up at 7:00pm to take guests back to their vehicles at the parking address, and will end at 9:45pm.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The Dress Code: Wear Green, All Green In honor of Tamara’s beloved mother Marilyn, and her favorite color, Tamara and Tobias have requested that all guests wear solid green from head to toe, and if wearing jewelry/accessories, please wear only gold. All shades of green are welcome, but prints/patterns are not. No green, no entry. Seriously. One may ask, "I have a dress that has green IN it, or an outfit that's green but has colorful flowers on it. Can I wear that?", or for men, "I got a cold green suit jacket, and I'll just wear black pants with it. Is that cool?", to which the answer is a resounding No. Please respect the bride and groom's request: solid green--any shade of green is permitted (not green, and white, or green and a pop of pink). If you’re wondering “Can I wear…” and it’s not solid green, the answer is lovingly but firmly: No. And please don't be that "Imma just tuck mines in" person--you will also be asked to return to your dwelling place to change. Please put some respek on the bride and groom's request. Alright, I think we're done here. Let the church say, Amen.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by ______. You were handpicked. You’re special. You were chosen out of "millions" 🎶 (cue The Winans). If your plans change, please contact Tiffany Hairston as soon as possible to release that seat. It cost money, so they'd love to get it to someone else on the list.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

The bride and groom love your babies, but have asked that you leave your little blessings home. There will be no children allowed at the wedding (with the exception of those part of the wedding party).

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Stop playing.. you know the answer to that one. Just in case you need to see the answer -- plus ones will not be allowed entry.

Question

Are phones permitted so I can capture photos and videos from this special day?

Answer

Picture-taking will be allowed during the ceremony but not from anywhere else other than your seat. A professional photographer and videographer have been hired to capture this once in a lifetime day in a way that honors all the money they've spent on this wedding production. Please don't be the one to ruin a photo or video because you could not respect the bride & groom's wishes by not standing up, or moving from your seat to take a picture. You have one job -- well, three: be on time, wear solid green, and let the photographer and videographer handle the heavy lifting.

Question

When is Cocktail Hour, and where will the Reception be held?

Answer

Cocktail Hour will be held immediately following the ceremony. The Reception will be in the same venue as the ceremony.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Tamara & Tobias have chosen not to create a traditional registry. Instead, they are asking for monetary gifts only (no gift cards) as they prepare to build their future together. There will be no gift table — please only bring the green that "folds" or send your green digitally via Zelle (moodystt@gmail.com) or CashApp ($Moodys2025). Your generosity will help them build the home they’ve been dreaming of together. Whether large or small, your financial gift is deeply appreciated and will be stewarded with love.
