Welcome to the love story of Mira and Tobias! It all began amidst the beautiful Rocky Mountains in Estes Park, Colorado. Mira and Tobias first crossed paths at Leadership Training (LT) a Christian leadership program, where they were drawn together by their shared values and playful personalities. As they spent time together, Tobias also shared his passion for music with Mira, teaching her to play the cajon (the box drum), further deepening their connection through shared interests and experiences. Through the summer, they went on hikes, roller bladed, played lots of board games, and shared many late night chats. Their relationship officially began on June 24, 2022 and has been filled with laughter, and countless adventures ever since. However, as the summer drew to a close, they faced the challenge of living three hours apart, with Tobias residing in Athens, Ohio, and Mira in Kent, Ohio. Determined to overcome the distance, Tobias made the courageous decision to move to Kent, where they spent a year together, playing more board games, learning to cook, and getting Mira graduated from Kent! Yet, as life's paths unfolded, Tobias's academic pursuits led him back to Athens for school. He is now studying Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering Technologies at Hocking College. But they maintained their connection across the miles. On March 27, 2024, against the picturesque backdrop of Appalachia, Tobias got down on one knee and asked Mira to be his forever. Overjoyed and filled with love, she said yes, marking the beginning of their journey towards marriage. As they prepare to say "I do," Mira is eagerly moving to Athens to join Tobias. She will begin a new job at Hocking County Board of Developmental Disabilities. They are ready to embark on the next chapter of their love story. Tobias and Mira are deeply grateful for the unwavering support of their church communities, families, and friends, who have stood by them every step of the way. Together, they are filled with excitement and anticipation as they eagerly await the day they will exchange vows and begin their happily ever after.
