Use the view button to visit a great website which will allow you to look for Mass options in the area (around Elkhorn, NE). Be sure you're on the correct day of the week!
There's a ton of great options in Omaha for a good meal, and several of these often have brunches for holidays like Mother's Day. We recommend booking a reservation ahead of time when possible to avoid long waits: Railcar Modern American Kitchen (144th and Blondo); First Watch (various locations in Omaha); Spezia (just off the Interstate around 72nd Street); Saddle Creek Breakfast Club (87th and Pacific); Vidlak's (156th and Center); 402 Eat and Drink (168th and Dodge); Early Bird (various locations around Omaha); Pettit's Pastry (Donut shop near 114th and Dodge); Taxi's (120th and Blondo).
Since Fr. Flanagan was declared "Venerable" in April 2026, we highly recommend a visit to the Hall of History at Boys Town to learn more about this saintly priest. If you don't have time to check this out during the wedding weekend, you can stream the 2025 biopic, "Heart of a Servant: The Father Flanagan Story" on Amazon Prime.
Tobias and I went here just before he proposed! The Omaha Henry Doorly Zoo routinely earns the title of the #1 zoo in the nation. It's easy to spend a whole day just wandering around all the exhibits!
One of Anna's favorite restaurants in town. Great oven-fired pizza, but also has a fantastic selection of what's in season locally.
Coneflower's motto is 'farm to cone' - great locally made ice cream (Tobias enjoys the Black Forest Cherry, Anna likes the blend with Archtype Coffee or anything chocolate). Three locations in Omaha - Millwork and Blackstone are close to Bellevue; Elkhorn is near Zenia (our wedding reception hall).
We went putt-putt golfing on one of our first dates in Omaha.
Tobias' favorite place to sit and chill with a cup of coffee. A nice place to go people-watching and lounge.
When we are craving sushi in Bellevue, we head over to Umami. This is one of our go-to dinners when Tobias is in Nebraska.
Omaha's botanical gardens are great to walk around, or catch a glimpse of their visiting Troll exhibit.
A chocolate shop (Anna's favorite dessert spot in Bellevue) that has outstanding chocolate, some of it including honey from their own beehives. They also have a mini-tea room if you want to sit and enjoy a nice cup of tea with your chocolate.
A great outdoor space to wander and stretch your legs. Be sure to check out the roller skating rink in the Heartland of America Park. Free and open to the public.
The Luminarium is a science museum geared towards kids, a fairly recent addition to the city. Located in the Omaha Riverfront area.
Omaha's art museum, recently remodeled. Free to visit.
If you're feeling creative, you can create a sign or door hanger at the Makery. Anna crafted a sign here during her bachelorette party to hang on a future front door she and Tobias will call home.
New films, classic films, Met Opera performances - Film Streams always has a varied assortment of movies showing. Please note, there are two locations - one in the Dundee neighborhood (the address the map will show), and one downtown near 13th and Cuming Streets.
