Meet Ty Ty
Ailin and Toby's wedding website wouldn’t be complete without a page dedicated to their beloved cat, 泰泰猪 Ty Ty [t-AI t-AI].
For some months, Ailin and Toby talked about fostering a cat. On the magical evening of New Year's Eve in 2022, they saw a flyer in a pet store window by @animalprojectnyc. The shelter matched Toby with an American tabby cat found abandoned outside a deli in the Bronx when Ailin was away for her trip to China. In just two weeks, Toby's heart overflowed with love for the resilient feline. He wanted to adopt this cat.
Upon Ailin's return, she hesitated about the adoption's commitment and was unsure about this furry big boi with a giant butt. But in two days, she, too, fell under Ty Ty's spell. They made it official on March 6, 2023, welcoming Ty Ty into their lives.
Toby's family cat, Tommy, lived a happy long 22 years and, after the first trip to Bethesda, turned Ailin into a cat person; he was also an American Tabby. Ty Ty is continuing the love and affection.
