The day that we met was a surprise to both of us. Hope’s brother, Craig, and I had just begun to hang out outside of high school and we stopped by his mothers house so he could get ready for one of my friends Halloween Parties. When we arrive he says, “My sister’s here, you get to meet my sister.” “…..I didn’t even know you had a sister,” I said. We walk inside, take 10 steps in and just before I walk into the living room, I notice my shoe is untied, so I stoop down to tie it. Before I even finish, Hope, strides over, greets me and asks “Hello! Does my costume look like I’m a Doll?” I was already not prepared to meet this mystery sister of someone I had known for 7 years at this point, but to be asked my opinion of her appearance that I had barely the time to admire, I couldn’t even muster any audible words. She already had me kneeling to her beauty and love from day one. I’ve always felt welcomed and loved by this family and I am proud to be able to share life with such a shining love like my beautiful Hope. - Jheremy
We arrived in England on the 27th and began visiting friends and family. On the morning of my birthday, the 28th, we arrived at Licky Hills, a place I had been wanting to revisit because the views are beautiful overlooking the city of Birmingham. With my family present, and while my back was turned, Jheremy got down on one knee and “Popped The Question”. Let it be known, he asked if I’d be his “lawfully wedded husband”. His words got jumbled as he was nervous. I responded with “I’m not a man, but yes!” All in all, it was Magical. He’s Magical! I am beyond grateful for this man and honored to walk this life with him. - Hope
