This is our favorite breakfast/brunch spot! Lindsey loves the kitchen sink breakfast salad, and Joe is a fan of the breakfast sandwiches on their excellent biscuits.
A southwest spin on breakfast food. Try the Nutella pancake balls!
This is our go-to splurge for breakfast, lunch or dinner. And they have great coffee!
A special breakfast treat in German village
A classic neighborhood diner, and (in our opinion) the best donuts in town!
Come here for the French Pastries and patisserie!
Our go-to coffee shop!
A Columbus classic, with locations in Grandview and German village
Great coffee, sandwiches, and unbelievable pastries
The macarons and Italian pastries here are fantastic!
Several locations in town - definitely a place to take some single origin beans to go for the coffee connoisseur in your life
Best Reuben we know! Our favorite sandwich shop. Plan on a lengthy line and wait for your order - it’s best to call ahead! Parking is also tricky in this area, might be best to walk if you are in the area
Our favorite place to grab dinner! A casual spot. We always order the soft pretzel appetizer. They have a huge beer selection and excellent cocktails. Lindsey loves the seared salmon salad, and Joe feels strongly that they have one of the best burgers in town.
Our favorite place for a nice dinner out in the Worthington area
There are a few different locations in Columbus. We love their pizza and the kale caesar salad!
Another great pizza place in German Village. Their crust is unique and a little sweet.
A large building with multiple food vendors and bars on each level - sort of a fancy food court style eatery
If you haven’t had Jeni’s, it’s a must while you’re in town!
Excellent stop for a dish or cone - or to take home and eat straight out of the pint, as is Lindsey’s preference
There is a new Nocterra taproom right in the park near the reception. They have great beer and some of our favorite sour beers!
This is where we had a small engagement party, and where Lindsey often meets up with her euchre group - OLEC, the Old Ladies Euchre Club :)
This is a really cool brewery with a large rooftop area, and across from Budd Dairy Food Hall
We really like the restaurant at Watershed, and their cocktail menu is always an adventure. You can also take home any favorite products from their store to enjoy later!
One of Joe's favorite places in Columbus - a small movie theatre with a large beer list and some of our favorite pizza. The theatre has build in tables so you can arrive, grab a beer and place your pizza order, and enjoy your pizza while seeing a movie.
The sister location to Grandview Theatre. Same great pizza, beer, and vibes, different location.
There are lots of great markets around Columbus, but Worthington's is the biggest and very popular. Saturday from 8-12
A great place to take kids and enjoy their rotating exhibits
There is an awesome children's garden area, and beautiful Chihuly glass on display throughout the conservatory
If you want to do some shopping while you're in town, Easton is the place
If you'd like to give climbing a try while you're in town, this is where we climb several times each week! Plan on some time to complete their safety orientation and learn the ropes.
This is a small bouldering gym located in the Scioto Audubon park area.
This is the park where our reception venue is located! It has an outdoor climbing wall as well as a climbing gym (Bloc Garten), a large obstacle course, a dog park, and trails that connect to the scioto mile and downtown areas
