ROOKIE SZN: After Lo graduated from college, she needed her fix to get back into the game and found the gym through a mutual friend. CT, having returned from playing basketball overseas, was looking for something short-term until he had to head back for another season. As God is always perfect in His timing, their two worlds collided, starting the best love story of all time (we're not biased). Now, not to say it was all sunshine and daisies in the first six months... ask Christian, whose middle name has officially become Patience and Persistence. Both Lo and CT took their time building a foundation of friendship, which included lots of one-on-one basketball (which Lo won every time), weekly taco & tequila Tuesdays, and staying up until the birds started chirping, sharing what they wanted for themselves in this lifetime. PLAYOFFS SZN: After months of pursuing, CT decided it was time to see if Lo would finally admit that she was in love with him... (y'all, it was 6 months before she told the man she liked him). On January 2nd, 2022, Christian FINALLY asked Lauren to be his girlfriend. Of course, Lo wanted something a little more elaborate, so he wrote on a napkin asking her to officially be his girlfriend, complete with a required signature. When you think about opposites attracting, there has never been a more accurate statement than when looking at CT & Lo's relationship. Whether it’s their heights, personalities, or sleeping schedules, they could not be more opposite; HOWEVER, they share the same love for the Lord and for each other. Through all the ups and downs of the past two and a half years, they have always been each other's biggest supporters and encouragers. GOIN' TO THE 'SHIP: God has called these two into the next season of their relationship, which is about to be the biggest one yet... MARRIAGE! Although they know it won’t always be easy, they believe they have the best dream team, and we know CT is always good for a 40+ piece. We welcome all prayers over our relationship and are excited to do life with our community. We are so excited for this next chapter, which has already been perfectly crafted by our Heavenly Father!
