Coronavirus Changes

Thank you for your patience as we have worked to adapt our wedding celebration plans due the current Coronavirus pandemic. In light of the current state guidelines for gatherings, we have decided to hold an intimate wedding ceremony and reception on our original wedding date of October 17th, 2020 with our immediate family and our wedding party. Guests who have been invited to this celebration will receive their invitation in the mail. We are hoping to be able to live stream our wedding ceremony for those of our loved ones who are not able to be with us this year- please check back for more details on that once we get it set up. We also plan to hold a larger celebration with all of our guests on October 16th, 2021! Everyone who received a 'Save the Date' card (including those guests who have been invited to our small wedding ceremony and reception in October of 2020) will receive a 'Postpone the Date' card in the mail, and we look forward to providing you all with information about our new reception once we have all the details figured out.

We Met...

in the Fall of 2015

Lindsey and Matt had just moved to College Station to continue their college education. Lindsey didn’t know anyone in College Station so she had random room mates in her first apartment who all happened to be from La Grange (Matt's home town). Lindsey and Matt talked occasionally if their group of friends lined up and he even helped Lindsey fix a flat tire (if you know Lindsey you wouldn't be surprised that she got a flat). If you would've told either one of them then that they would be preparing for marriage now they probably would have called you crazy. Fast forward to August of 2017 Lindsey showed up at one of Matt's tailgates and they started talking a lot more frequently. It took Matt about a month and a half before he asked Lindsey out on a date, but once they finally went on a date the rest became history. Now Lindsey and Matt will be starting their newest adventure on the three year anniversary of their first date.

The Proposal

May 10th, 2019

Matt proposed to Lindsey immediately following her graduation from Texas A&M University. Matt encouraged Lindsey and her family to go take pictures at the AGLS Gardens on campus after the ceremony, so that is what they did. Little did Lindsey know, Matt had been in contact with many of Lindsey's friends who helped pull of a great surprise! We began taking pictures and Matt suggested we walk to a different part of the gardens to take pictures (it was a long walk and no one followed them so Lindsey became suspicious). Under a tree Matt had set up a small table with the help of Lindsey's friends (shout out to Catherine & Kristy) with a beautiful flower arrangement and Lindsey's favorite picture of them. Matt dropped to a knee and asked Lindsey to marry him and then they went back to Lindsey's house to celebrate her graduation and engagement thanks to the Heine girls and Laura!
