On my first day of freshman year, Trenton says that as soon as he saw me walk into the cafeteria he knew that I was the girl he was going to marry. He found me on Facebook through a mutual friend (we joke that he stalked me) and started messaging me. I took a little longer to realize he was "the one," we texted each other occasionally, but I avoided him at both school and his work. Jump forward to my sophomore year and his senior year, we shared health science together. Trenton had the biggest, smug grin on his face when I walked into class and realized we only sat a few seats apart. Once I finally gave him a chance, we became close almost instantly and the rest is history.
One of mine and Wesley's first dates was watching The Notebook together, and it is one of her all-time favorite movies. She had been wanting to have couples pictures taken for months, and since we had a planned trip with her parents to Charleston, I asked her mom to suggest for her to find a photographer in that area to have pictures taken. She found a local photographer to take our pictures at Magnolia Plantation and Gardens, where the scene Noah and Allie are sitting in a boat surrounded by swans was filmed. I messaged the photographer about a month before letting her know what my plan was, and on July 6 I got down on one knee and asked the girl of my dreams to marry me!
