The dress code is cocktail attire. Men typically wear a suit and tie while women wear a cocktail dress. Tie is optional. The tent is over grass so wedges or thick heel will work better!

Unfortunately due to the large number of guests, transportation will not be provided to and from events of the day. It is approximately a 15 minute drive from the church to the winery. The hotel listed on our website is approximately 20 minutes from the winery. After the ceremony, the immediate family of the couple and bridal party will be taking pictures at the church and winery for around an hour. Guests can drive over to the reception location at Cauble Creek Vineyard (about 15 minutes away) where snacks and drinks will be flowing. Cocktail hour will immediately follow the ceremony and will be held at Cauble Creek Vineyard as the wedding party and immediate family take pictures for around an hour. Cocktail food will include light, self-served hors d’oeuvres. The bar will be open for you to enjoy wine and beer. Dinner will be buffet style with your choice of barbecue chicken or pulled pork barbecue and served with additional sides. Vegetarian options will be available to those who have dietary restrictions. Enjoy mini cupcakes from Tea For Two bakery for dessert!
We are not requiring masks at our wedding. Feel free to mask and practice social distancing as you feel comfortable.
Unfortunately, due to several conflicting events in Salisbury on our wedding weekend, the nearest hotel is located in Kannapolis, NC (20 minute drive from the winery). The ceremony will be held inside at St. John’s Lutheran Church in downtown salisbury. The reception will take place under a tent at Cauble Creek Vineyard. The tent is over a grass area.
Children are welcome at our special day! We encourage parents of young children to sit towards the back of the church during the ceremony in case you may need a quick exit.
Please refrain from bringing outside alcohol to the event. Liquor is not permitted at the winery. Please enjoy wine and beer provided through the open bar.
The reception will end around 10:30 with last call between 9 and 9:30. There will not be an after party.
We love photos! We do ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony, we’d like that time to be unplugged. For the rest of the wedding, we encourage guests to post pictures using our wedding hashtag #ToastToTheYosts2022 so we can see them, too!
