We do not have any specially requested attire, as we are happy you are coming to celebrate with us! *** We do recommend bringing a coat/jacket for the outdoor ceremony if the winds on Lake Superior grace us (as even the summer months can bring a cool breeze). ** The outdoor ceremony space next to the aquarium has pea-sized rocks lining the way, so we would recommend flats or wedges rather than heels! * If there is inclement weather, the ceremony will be moved indoors and rescheduled for 7:00 PM (when the aquarium is closed to the public) instead. This contingency plan means we can eat, drink, and explore early on!
We absolutely want all our friends and family to bring their kiddos! ** The aquarium remains open to us even after closing to the public, so feel free to take a look at all of the exhibits! All guests' entry fees have been covered through having the event at the aquarium. * There is a board room/play area for enclosed places for little ones to play that also overlooks the ceremony space. Accessibility to the 2nd floor exhibits include both stairs and elevator service.
