We met in Northeast Harbor, Maine. While our captain was giving us a tour of the boat that had become our new home for the next year and a half together. It was love at first sight! On our first date, we were laying on a dock watching the stars, listening to a seal in the background hitting its head on nearby boats, and there were so many shooting stars! One after another, after another. We both knew then that we were laying with the person we were going to spend the rest of our lives with.

It was our second day on vacation in Banff National Park in Canada when we woke up early to watch the sunrise at the spot we had been dreaming of going to since we first met, Lake Moraine. There is a quick hike to the most beautiful viewing point where you can see the refections of the mountain peaks on the turquoise blue lake. There were lots of people around already so Troy pointed us to a corner where no one was and got down on one knee with a little box and I screamed "Are you messing with me?! YES!" We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter of our lives with you! See you in NC!
