Around 2013 … Nidiyah’s best friend and Tarrant’s client, Gina always noticed such similarities between Tarrant and Nidiyah. She thought it would be a great idea for them to meet! Gina told Nidiyah “Even if you don’t get married, you’ll be best friends”. Despite Gina’s persistence, Tarrant and Nidiyah both brushed off Gina’s attempts to get them together for nearly 2 years! Finally, one night, 2/13/2015, Gina mentioned to Nidiyah that Tarrant was having a party down the street from their new salon in Edgewater NJ. Nidiyah finally gave in and said “Fine, but I’m going like this I'm not changing! He has to take me how I am”. Both girls headed to the party. Tarrant walked into the party fashionably late, per usual and greeted Nidiyah as if they knew each other for years! There was an instant and undeniable connection right away! They both talked for about 5 min before Tarrant declared “I’m going to marry you!". March 09, 2020 in Wrens, Georgia Tarrant held true to his word he asked Nidiyah for her hand in marriage in front of the person that he know she held most dear to her heart, her late grandmother, Dillie. The couple has gone on to purchase a cozy home in Teaneck NJ. Since then and they have brought the most beautiful angel and proof of their love into the world, Ari Nova. Their love story is testament to who they are: non-traditional, goal-oriented and loyal.
