Wedding Party

Our family - whether bonded by blood or years of friendship - truly sustains us. This day would not be complete without each of them and their support. We are so blessed to have them and the many others who will be in attendance on our special day and who have rolled up their sleeves, without any recognition, to ensure that this event goes off without a hitch.

Ronetta Morgan

Matron of Honor

Ronetta became Tamara's client nearly 16 years ago. They "clicked" and the business relationship became a bond of friendship that turned to sisterhood without any inkling that it would be formalized by marriage. Ronetta can always be counted on to lend a listening ear, a shoulder to cry on and she is "the vault" -- who needs Vegas when one of your besties lips are always sealed? Best of all, it was Ronetta (and her hubby, Emmanuel's brother, Keith) who introduced the giddy couple!

Elias Morgan

Best Man

As the only son of the groom, Eli was Emmanuel's immediate choice of Best Man. Elias makes his family proud -- he serves his country in the Air Force, just returning from deployment in Qatar, and is a dependable and proud husband and father.

Danielle Clevalle

Bridesmaid

Dani, Tamara's beloved sister was Tamara's first "baby" - she watched over her, braided her hair, disciplined her and ran her would-be suitors away. Dani was the first of Tamara's girls to become a woman, wife and mother -- and has made her so proud at every turn. Dani's beautiful spirit, infectious smile, ferocious protectiveness, sense of humor and silliness keep Tamara smiling.

Karen Lewis

Bridesmaid

Tamara's more-like-a-sister-than-a-friend has been standing tall beside her for nearly 30 years. They met in college and have never skipped a beat. No matter what city they live in, no matter what may be going on in their lives, their bond is unbreakable and defies explanation or label.

Karen Williams

Bridesmaid

Karen has been Tamara's right hand at work for nearly 17 years, but that's just the beginning of the story. The two became friends, true friends, early on; sharing the details of their lives outside of work. They began to take care of one another and have never stopped. Tamara couldn't imagine taking this major step in her life without Karen by her side, as usual.

Darnella Jones

Bridesmaid

It started in the sixth grade. Tamara and Darnella's mothers met in the pediatrician's office and were determined that their daughters would be friends. And that's exactly what happened. They have shared so many years of friendship, funny stories, happiness . . . they are more like family than friends.

Beverly Morgan-Glover

Bridesmaid

Beverly is Emmanuel's sister -- the only girl in a household of five brothers -- and has been watching over her brothers for years. Tamara met Beverly several years ago through her friendship with Ronetta and felt an immediate kinship. Their friendship grew out of common values and interests and genuine respect. When Tamara and Emmanuel began dating, Beverly was Switzerland -- perfectly balancing her allegiances to both of them. When the couple decided to marry, Beverly embraced Tamara as a true sister even before the official date was set. Her role as bridesmaid was predestined.

Tiffany Thomas

Bridesmaid

When Tamara met Tiffany she was still learning the ropes at her law firm -- a star on the rise. Over the years they joined forces and, with their dear friend Deborah, created a trio that could not be stopped. Tiffany is no longer the little sister that makes Tamara proud. She's standing shoulder to shoulder with her. She is a bona fide Superstar making waves, kicking butt, and turning the legal world upside down. Deborah is smiling.

Rhonda Andrew

Bridesmaid

Rhonda and Tamara met at one of the most vulnerable times in their lives -- in law school. They were both presidents of the Black Law Students Associations at their respective law schools and recognized each other as kindred spirits. It's been 25 years and the bond has grown deeper and deeper. They have shared secrets, laughter, tears, woes and fears. Theirs is a friendship that requires nothing yet provides everything.

Keith Morgan

Groomsman

The youngest of Emmanuel's brothers, Keith is the brother who will surprise you with a host of talents: heart wrenching trumpet playing, amazing wood working, nimble knitting, soulful singing, lasagna layering and always being there to give advice and counsel. Keith is also the other half of the match making team that made this union possible!

Kelvin Morgan

Groomsman

Kelvin is the second youngest of the brothers - Keith's twin. Kelvin's talents - as a musician and singer - and his business acumen are admirable but what stands out even more is that he is always looking for a way to help those in need.

Edmondo Morgan, Sr.

Groomsman

Eddie is the second eldest of Emmanuel's brothers. An avid fisherman, hard worker and talented trombone player, Eddie is kind, generous, dependable and pragmatic -- traits Emmanuel treasures.

George Glover

Groomsman

While technically his brother-in-law, Emmanuel views George as simply another of his brothers. George is a devoted family man and athletic coach. Emmanuel believes George would serve others well as a life coach because he is a man of the highest standards and can help others steer their lives in the proper direction.

Corey Lee

Groomsman

Corey is one of Emmanuel's "chosen" brothers. They began working together in 1986 and developed a treasured friendship that deepened into a family bond, never losing contact with one another, sharing adventures and good times. Emmanuel admires Corey's dedication to his family, strong work ethic and sense of integrity.

Abdul Zaied

Groomsman

Abdul is another of Emmanuel's "chosen" brothers. They met a few years ago at work and became fast friends almost immediately. Abdul is funny, intelligent, and very dependable. Emmanuel admires how open Abdul's heart is and knows that his generosity has no limits.

Hosea Morgan

Groomsman

Hosea is Emmanuel's brother who is both the rebel of the family and the artist extraordinaire. He is immensely talented and funny. Emmanuel treasures Hosea for his insightful, nurturing and generous nature - Hosea will go out of his way to help those in his circle in whatever way they need and he will fight for a cause he holds dear.

Andrea Pradia

Bridesmaid

Andrea and Tamara's friendship was born at UC Berkeley nearly 30 years ago. Theirs is that unique bond that survives distance and circumstance. No matter what's going on in their lives they can pick up the phone and a conversation as though only days have passed. Andrea didn't hesitate to agree to fly in from Louisiana to stand for Tamara.

John Adeniji

Groomsman

John, the husband of Emmanuel's daughter, Chrystanya, is like a second son to Emmanuel. John's integrity, work ethic, strong family values and sense of humor brought exactly what any father would want for his cherished daughter and grandson.

Aubrielle Delane-Blue

Jr. Bridesmaid

Tamara's granddaughter will exude poise, pride, and be positively precious as she strolls down the aisle as a Jr. Bridesmaid.

Zaria Clevalle

Jr. Bridesmaid

Tamara's niece is the epitome of style and grace and will show everyone that she was born to shine brightly when she takes the lead as a Jr. Bridesmaid.

Berkeley Isidor Blue

Ring Bearer

Tamara's grandson will bring a surprising sense of style and sophistication while ensuring that the rings entrusted to his care are kept safe. We sense great things from Mr. Blue!

Zion Clevalle

Flower Girl

Tamara's niece is sure to combine "adorable" with "precocious" and will likely steal the show!

Joshua Adeniji

Page/Bell Ringer

Emmanuel's darling grandson will capture everyone's attention as he announces the entrance of the wedding party.

Charlotte Morgan

Flower Child

The baby of the family, Emmanuel's granddaughter is sure to elicit ooh's and ahh's as she teeters down the aisle.
