We met in high school at a house party —the kind of party where the whole school showed up and someone’s parents definitely didn’t approve. We both planned to be there, but we didn’t plan on meeting each other. Somehow, between loud music, dancing, and way too many students, we started talking—and didn’t stop. From that night on, we were almost inseparable. We went to prom, and figured out how to be “adults” one little life moment at a time. It all started at a house party, but turns out, that night was just the pre-game to forever.
