After much discussion, we have decided to postpone the wedding until next year. We have the health and safety of our loved one as our top priority. We want to celebrate and enjoy each other's company with no restrictions. As this is the best route forward we hope everyone is remaining safe. Please be patient with us as we take the next steps in updating information. We cannot wait to celebrate with you all!

Their fairy tale started in the Summer of 2007. Kat & Ty met at NJIT in the EOP Pre-College Summer Program. Being wedged between Ty & another classmate, she knew this was the start of an interesting friendship. Kat & Ty quickly became the best of friends; playing pickup games at the basketball courts, taking random trips to the mall, endless dance practices in the student hall and countless parties with the same crew. Although sparks never flew in the first few years of friendship, in the Spring of 2012 a good old fashion April’s Fools prank would be the spark that lit the flame of their love story. Upon Kat's return from a summer internship they attended a birthday party where things just were different. Shortly after, Ty began to court Kat and since they have been nearly inseparable. Approaching their 5th anniversary and 10 years of friendship, Ty POPPED the question in the mystical jungles of Belize. On September 14, 2019 they will celebrate their 7th anniversary with family and friends as they say the lucky I Do’s .

What was to be a memorable trip to the jungles of Belize...Ty memorialized it with asking Kat to marry him. As amazing as it may sound, it was not without some hurdles! On the day of the trip traveling to the airport should have been the simplest task. Not quite. Starting the trip in two different states, Kat made her way to Belize. Ty...well his first flight was delayed so he missed his connection to make it to Belize. Despite missing the first day, Ty's secret remained safe with Kat's friends. After 24 hrs, an expensive cab ride & a hike down to a handmade archway on the Macal River, Ty POPPED the question and changed the mood of the entire trip. Being one of the most magical trips they have taken, Kat said YES & they began their journey towards forever.
