We met at Josh's cousins 21st birthday party, in which I was the only girl. We had an instant connection over movies and he picked out a couple for me to watch. As he was working overnights at Walmart straight out of college, and I was still a student myself, we would stay up late into the night texting. I invited myself over to watch one of our favorite movies, Bronson, and I never really left.

It was my birthday weekend and we went on a getaway to California together. We drove to Santa Barbara to visit a beach and take photos at sunset. He set up the tripod and ran next to me to be in the photo, using the excuse that the "remote" was in his pocket. I had a feeling this was it and next thing I knew, he was on one knee rushing through his proposal! We drove around for hours in Santa Barbara trying to find parking so we could have a nice post-proposal dinner, and called all of our families, but ended up in good old In-n-Out. He was so sweet to get it all on video and put together a video that I will always cherish of the proposal and our trip to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter! It was the most magical weekend!
