We're getting married!

We were set up at a 2 year old's birthday party. Or should we say "bombarded"? The birthday girl's Mom was our mutual friend, who saw some potential and took her chance. Obviously she was a genius and should probably look into match making professionally. Over the course of the following week, we managed to go on about six dates in eight days. By day eight it was official, and the rest is history.

We've never felt very conventional, so it was no surprise the next step in our relationship was to purchase our first home together. The process was stressful and long (can you say nearly 100 days in escrow?), but ultimately gave us our dream house. It needs some work, but we are enjoying every project that's making it our own. Two months after moving in, we also welcomed our giant-fur-baby-of-a-dog Hammy to the mix!

Tj knew Sam did not want a public and over the top proposal. He listened very well! Our proposal was an intimate affair at his parent's house during a family dinner, and Sam was completely caught off guard! She wouldn't change it for anything - it was perfectly them.
