13 & 16 year old us living out our best lives.

We met in shop class at the start of TSA. Both of us being RC car racers we spend a lot of our time competing against each other. I may never know what actually sparked his interest, but I think it's because I kept beating him. "If you can't beat them might as well be with them", haha! (Not to brag but I beat him 9 times out of 10!) We spent a lot of nights driving around, listening to music, and watching movies. Although it was short lived (thanks to his dad worried about the age gap) we still both never got over or forgot about each other. I even called him "My Husband" in the shop until I graduated! We went on about our lives both finishing high school and learning how to navigate the world instead we both learned how cruel it could be. Both going through terrible relationships we ended up finally being on the same page in life for once, even without my knowledge, until he reached out after he saw I moved home. I ran home as soon as I could and told my mom "GUESS WHAT"! After that day it was like we never stopped talking. He came to visit me at the bar I worked at, I asked him to wait for me since we didn't get much time to chat. I was only 15 minutes, and this man was sleeping in his truck waiting for me... I knew I couldn't leave him so after some panicking, I finally get him woken up and I took him home in his truck. Since I didn't have my vehicle, I stayed. He woke up in a panic at 4AM and made us go get my vehicle! Ever since that night we have been by each other side, quite literally, the longest we've been apart is 4 days! Later during one of our many nights in the garage with Ryley's parents we learned we have been more intertwined that we thought. My Dad's parents used to live above the house that his parents now live in. Our parents all growing up together. The house that my parents used to own and brought me home to, my dad rented out to his dad's friend. Ryley and Gregg used to go out there all the time and ride four wheelers. Then we meet early on "officially" in school/activities. Call it what you want, small town fate, just a coincidence, or connected souls in a different lifetime, either way we believe it was meant to be!
