This was the location of our First Date. Laura was running late and I had to guide her in by phone. She hardly ate anything, said she didn't want to make a bad impression. It was here she told me she had 4 kids (as she held up four fingers)... I didn't flinch. It was a nice date, I chose a table by the fireplace, I thought it would be more romantic. We ended the date with a quick hug and we were on our way, then Laura ate the rest of her food, LOL. The place is now closed, we drive by once in a while, and I remember that day every time.
This was the location of our first kiss. I had taken Laura for a ride on the motorcycle, and we rode up to the top floor of the parking structure for the view. This was three months after we started dating, and we still had not kissed. Laura was starting to feel as if maybe I didn't want to kiss her, but I did, just didn't want to be pushy and scare her away. We has been talking and she was in the middle of saying, something... but I just couldn't wait any longer, I interrupted and asked her if I could kiss her, she said yes. **For those of you who like to gamble, this is probably the closest casino to Fresno for slots, and cards. (although Club One Casino in Fresno also will fix your cards desires.)
This is a family Favorite local spot that my East Coast sisters enjoy visiting when they come to the Best Coast, Oh, I mean West Coast. =D The tacos are large, they offer to add beans by choice, and the cervezas preparadas are spot on. But the highlight of this place is the service! Last time I (TJ) went was when Xochi last visited, and our order was ready to be handed to us before we could even get the bill paid! Highly recommend!
This is our go to spot for good food, good prices, and a good time. Happy Hour 3pm-6pm weekdays! Our recommendations are the Ahi Tuna Nachos, the Chicken Nachos, The Margarita Pizza, and the if you want meatless, the Vegan 'wings' are delicious! Let us know if you have never tried this place and decide to go.
Fun walks in the park with a river in the back, trails, and a duck pond ,
OMG, we have fallen in love with this place! Almost everything we've tried here is amazing. Our recommendations: Drunken Noodles, and the Tom Kha soup is a coconut soup that is absolutely delicious, such comfort food. If you plan on going, let us know, we are always looking for an excuse, lol!
you can spend a day picknicking, rent jetskis or paddle boats, boats, walking or jogging. They sell food in the area. You can also pack a lunch. Arrive early for parking
Hands down, the best bar-b-que in the Valley, in our opinion, everything is mouthwatering. The sweet baked potato (The 41 Baker) is my favorite, TJ likes the Mammoth platter to share with friends and family. Hotels right across the street, you can make a day out of it, with a beautiful hike one mile up .
Its serene and you can spend a good 3 hours there. Early morning is best to beat the heat. they sell coffee and food there .. The zoo is very nice and has new aditions
Any where you go is beautiful but, theres a cute little village you can go to and eat after your hike they sell pizza and burritos or you can pack a sandwich and eat outside in the beautiful scenery.
Check the weather before you go it might be too hot I hear its a nice place to go.
